Housed in the historic Liberty Tobacco Warehouse, Coley Hall brings weddings, corporate gatherings, and celebrations into a building first raised in 1917 and thoughtfully renovated in 2012. The industrial-elegant character comes straight from the structure itself: century-old exposed wooden beams overhead, weathered pine floors, distressed brick walls, and original wood-cased windows that fill the room with natural light. Set on East Main Street in downtown Elkin, North Carolina, the venue sits about an hour north of Charlotte at the edge of Yadkin Valley wine country, within walking distance of hotels, restaurants, and entertainment. Two spaces anchor the property: Coley Hall itself, a 5,200-square-foot event hall for up to 250 guests, and the adjacent East Main Courtyard, an outdoor setting for gatherings of up to 125. Events can flow between the two, indoors and out.

Few event venues carry the kind of lived-in history that makes a celebration feel genuinely special. Klondike Cabins is one of them. Nestled on 100 acres in State Road, North Carolina, the property began in the early 1920s when John Hanes of Hanes Hosiery built the first cabin as a family retreat. His brother-in-law Thurmond Chatham later joined him in developing a working estate where prize Golden Guernsey cattle grazed, polo ponies were bred, and the dairy was known for producing what the families called "the best chocolate milk in the world." The cabins still hold the artifacts of those years: Chatham blankets, wood-burning fireplaces, antique firearms, and taxidermy gathered on the property itself. Today, Klondike Cabins welcomes weddings and private gatherings for 10 to 500 guests, with 42 acres of walking grounds and gardens for ceremonies and receptions under an open sky. The Lodge (the largest of the four restored cabins) serves as the central gathering place, with a full dining room and comfortable common spaces. A 2-acre fishing pond, sweeping views across 60 acres of neighboring vineyard, and the constant backdrop of deer, wild turkeys, and native wildlife make every event here feel like an escape that guests won't soon forget.

450 Groce Rd, Ronda, NC 28670, USA
    • Spaces for 16-200 Guests
    • 1 Outdoor
    • 1 Winery

Raffaldini Vineyards stretches across 102 acres in the Blue Ridge foothills of Ronda, North Carolina, where owner Jay Raffaldini began planting Italian varietals in 2001 on rocky, granite-rich land he saw as an ideal match for Old World winemaking. The estate grows Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Sagrantino, and Vermentino at 1,200 feet of elevation, producing 72,000 bottles annually under the motto "Chianti in the Carolinas" — bone-dry wines made in the tradition of seven centuries of Italian family heritage. The Tuscan-style Villa Raffaldini, completed in 2008, anchors the property as both a working winery and an event destination with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge and Brushy Mountains. The estate also includes the original Fattoria tasting room, opened in 2005, vineyard Piazza tables, and a hilltop picnic area. Raffaldini draws more than 30,000 visitors each year and is recognized as the leading practitioner of the Appassimento grape-drying process in the United States. Private event rentals are available for gatherings of various sizes, from intimate lawn canopy experiences to larger celebrations set among the vines.
