The Lodge at Moss Neck is a private 1,200-acre estate in the Virginia countryside, about 70 miles south of Washington, D.C. Each event has the entire property to itself. Interiors feature walnut, cherry and cedar harvested on the estate, and 15 guest rooms sleep up to 30 with 24-hour concierge service. Fredericksburg Country Club occupies Smithfield, a Virginia estate whose land was first patented in 1671 and whose present mansion house was built in 1819 by John Pratt after fire destroyed the original dwelling. Captain Conway Vance, who bought the property in 1905, added the wings and white columns that still front the clubhouse today. Citizens incorporated the estate as a country club in 1925, and members repurchased it in 1946 as Fredericksburg Country Club following a wartime closure; expansions in 1961, 1973, 1988, and 1998 grew its golf course, dining, and recreation facilities. Today the private club is home to more than 500 members and offers a championship 18-hole golf course, golf practice facilities, an outdoor pool, and tennis and pickleball courts, alongside dining service and a fitness center. For weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations, the club opens its elegant ballroom, scenic outdoor spaces, and intimate dining rooms, with landscaped grounds and the golf course providing a picturesque backdrop for photography. An in-house events team, led by Events Manager Jamie McGuire, works with the culinary team to plan customizable menus, including plated dinners and buffets.

The Pavilion at Weatherly is a waterfront farm wedding and events venue set on 25 private acres along the Potomac River in Newburg, Maryland, roughly an hour south of Washington, DC. The property offers more than 600 feet of shoreline, 180-degree river views, and a 130-foot lighted pier extending over the water — a combination that gives it a rare sense of natural privacy without sacrificing accessibility for out-of-town guests. The centerpiece of the property is a timber frame pavilion built with a contemporary country aesthetic and nautical touches. Douglas fir posts and beams define the interior, while a glass wall facing the river and 12 glass doors that open onto the lawn and beach keep the connection to the water immediate. A 40-foot masonry fireplace anchors one end of the main floor, and a full bar with granite, copper, and antique mirror finishes runs along the opposite wall. The main event floor spans 6,000 square feet within a 7,800-square-foot structure, accommodating up to 250 guests. Two dedicated getting-ready suites — the Carolina Suite and the Potomac Suite — each have waterfront views, private porches, makeup stations, and gathering areas. An in-house coordinator is included with every rental, and the venue rental runs from 9 am to 11 pm with 7 hours dedicated to the event itself.

Swan Point Yacht & Country Club sits along the banks of the Potomac River in Issue, Maryland, on grounds that have been home to an 18-hole championship golf course — designed by Bob Cupp — since the late 1980s. The property includes a marina, community waterfront pool, tennis courts, and trails alongside the clubhouse. For weddings and private events, the Club offers exclusive use of the Clubhouse, with no other events scheduled on the same day. The ballroom features coffered ceilings, vintage chandeliers, and a spacious dance floor; guests can move between the ballroom and a veranda overlooking the golf course. An outdoor gazebo beside the water provides a ceremony setting with views of the Potomac. The venue accommodates up to 180 guests. In-house catering draws on locally caught seafood and seasonal produce, complemented by handcrafted cocktails. A day-of coordination team handles rehearsal timing, décor setup, and cleanup.

The Inn At The Old Silk Mill is located in the heart of Fredericksburg's historic downtown. The Inn, which was built in the 1930s, was one of the largest motor lodges on the east coast at the time. The Inn exudes a relaxed elegance that is infused with a sense of nostalgia for a bygone period. There are 27 antique-appointed bed and breakfast rooms, each with its own private bath, making the Inn an excellent choice for a romantic weekend away, wedding reception, corporate retreat, or any other occasion. A warm greeting awaits guests in the foyer, which features a magnificent staircase and chandelier (which is thought to have formerly belonged to the George Mason family). During the winter months, our guests can warm themselves by the fireplace in the lobby, which also includes a parlor area with a player piano, coffee, tea, and cookies for their enjoyment. During the warmer months, the Courtyard, which is located between the Inn and the Mill, is a wonderful area to sit and unwind. Enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee in our on-site Copper Shop, where our local coppersmith, Al Green, handcrafts his popular and patented "Fredericksburg Lantern," which can be purchased. Every day, a hot, freshly prepared continental breakfast is provided at no charge. The courtyard, which is straight out the back doors of the Inn and leads to the Silk Mill, is a great place for outdoor seating.
