With five unique spaces to host your event, the Bayou City Event Center is Houston's largest privately owned event venue and the largest in the state of Texas. It is possible to accommodate up to 2,500 people in theater-style seating and up to 1,500 guests in an attractive banquet setting in our enormous indoor Grand Ballroom. The Cypress, Magnolia A, and Magnolia B Ballrooms are the three usable spaces within these ballrooms, which are likewise divided into three sections. We also have a smaller Lakeview Ballroom with a stunning visual experience that is perfect for smaller gatherings. Get some fresh air on our Patio, which is the newest addition to the building, or organize an outside event in our covered Pavilion. The Pavilion is our most expansive outdoor event area, and it is flanked by a big parking lot that provides us with an additional 135,000 square feet of useful event space. Aaron Bludorn, the chef, has his roots in the Gulf area and serves New American cuisine that is inspired by French cuisine with love and honesty. Dishes, wines from around the world, and drinks made from scratch are on offer at this neighborhood institution, which has menus that change with the seasons. We aim to provide an amazing dining experience for our guests by preparing delectable dishes using only the finest ingredients and by paying close attention to detail while also extending a kind greeting. Uchi Houston made its debut in 2012 in the space that formerly housed the iconic Felix restaurant on Westheimer, bringing its signature level of quality and service to an urban setting for the first time. Items on the menu were selected from Uchi and Uchiko in Austin, as well as signature seasonal dishes that were developed by Chef de Cuisine Shaun King. River Oaks Garden Club, a member of The Garden Club of America, was founded in 1927 and has made numerous contributions to the Houston community in the areas of conservation, horticulture, and civic beautification. River Oaks Garden Club is a member of The Garden Club of America. The proceeds from the Azalea Trail are used to support the following ongoing projects: Louise Stevenson, a founding member of the River Oaks Garden Club, was the driving force behind the organization's inception. She persuaded her next-door neighbor, Hennie Cottingham, to join her in forming some sort of civic beautification organization to address the critical need for civic beautification in the River Oaks neighborhood. When the Garden Club's first official meeting was held on October 27, 1927, it was attended by 29 members, and it marked the beginning of a thriving and growing organization that was eventually admitted into the Garden Club of America in 1938. The members of the club quickly gained knowledge in the areas of gardening, garden design, horticulture, and flower arranging, among other things. They used their newfound knowledge to encourage others to get involved in improving the planted environment in Houston. There are no commercial, political, or fundraising purposes permitted on the Forum. Teen parties are also prohibited on the Forum. The maximum number of people who can fit into the space is 175. HPD security will be provided, and all functions must be completed and the building cleaned and vacated by midnight on the day of the rental agreement. The building manager must approve any outside catering, and all rental equipment must be picked up after the event unless otherwise agreed upon with the building manager.
