Country Garden Caterers is a full-service catering and event venue housed in a historic building on North Main Street in Santa Ana, California. The structure dates to the late 1920s, when it served as the AAA Headquarters and Service Station, and has hosted private events since the late 1970s. Its distinctive character comes from the original brick facade, terra cotta tile floors, stained-glass windows, antique oak bar, mezzanine, and old-fashioned street lamp that remain intact throughout the main hall. Four distinct event venues span a range of guest counts and atmospheres. The Samueli Conference Center & Courtyard seats up to 180 guests beneath vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, while the open-air Surf Deck delivers 180-degree ocean views for more intimate gatherings of up to 80. The Maddie James Maritime Wharf places events directly on the waterfront, overlooking the harbor and the Institute's historic vessels. For 40 years, the ENC has been shaped and caressed into a 5-acre landscape for learning, a sanctuary from life’s pressures and a place of preservation and instruction. Serving over 21,000 students and thousands of visitors annually, the ENC is recognized as a leader in science and social science education providing opportunities for increasing our community’s knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the natural world. Oak Canyon Nature Center is a 58-acre natural park tucked into the Santa Ana foothills of Anaheim Hills, California, where three adjoining canyons meet in a landscape of oak woodland and coastal sage scrub. A year-round stream winds through the property, and four miles of hiking trails trace the ridgelines and canyon floors that surround the event area. The centerpiece for private events is the outdoor amphitheater, set among native coastal oaks and accommodating up to 200 guests for wedding ceremonies. Rentals include four hours of event time, a two-hour rehearsal, use of an on-site sound system, and access to indoor restrooms. The amphitheater features a built-in arch, stage, and tiered seating, framed entirely by natural landscape. Oak Canyon Nature Center is a ceremony-only venue operated by the City of Anaheim; receptions are not permitted on the grounds. The park remains open to the public during events, lending the setting a relaxed, park-like character appropriate to its surroundings.
