Gig Harbor Yacht Club has been part of the South Sound boating community since 1958, when it began as a small group of charter members meeting above Gig Harbor's waterfront. Today the club's clubhouse sits in downtown Gig Harbor with a view of the bay from its outdoor deck, and it opens its doors to members and non-members alike for private events. The clubhouse offers an open floor plan that hosts can decorate to fit their occasion, with capacity for 150 to 200 guests depending on the event configuration. Weddings, birthdays, meetings, and other special and casual occasions all take place here, supported by round and rectangular tables, chairs, a state-of-the-art AV system with a 75-inch flat screen and overhead projection, and an in-house chef and catering team. The entire venue is handicap accessible, with plenty of free parking and easy access to nearby downtown marinas, parks, and lodging.

This one-of-a-kind family-owned and -operated venue was painstakingly transformed from the original 1917 estate by the Cabodi Family, who did so with an eye for romance and a dash of Italian heritage. You are more than welcome to spend as much time as you like in the Gardens and Manor House, which belong to our family. Prairie Hotel sits in Yelm, Washington, in the foothills of the Cascade Range, roughly an hour from Mount Rainier National Park and thirty minutes from Olympia. The hotel offers four room categories — Classic and Superior rooms, Studio rooms with select fireplaces or private patios, and suites with separate living areas, full kitchens, and jetted tubs or fireplaces — each appointed with high-speed Wi-Fi, a 42-inch flat-screen television, and a work desk. Emerald Downs is a Thoroughbred racetrack in Auburn, Washington, set between Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellevue in the Pacific Northwest. Beyond live racing, the property doubles as an event destination, with eleven distinct spaces that together host groups of up to 2,000 guests throughout the racing season and on non-race days. The venues range from the Emerald Room, the largest banquet space and a fit for weddings, fundraisers, meetings, and tradeshows, to a row of grandstand suites offering sweeping views of the track and Mount Rainier. The Trackside Pavilion pairs indoor and outdoor space with a bar and betting windows for an up-close view of the racing, while the fourth-floor View Room overlooks the saddling paddock and Winner's Circle. Founded in 2008, Olalla Vineyard & Winery has been serving the local community. It is a small, family-owned winery with a strong connection to Croatian culture. Joe and Konnie Serka were the former owners and operators of the vineyard, and they took great care of it. As the vineyard grew and developed into the lovely paradise that it is today, Joe and Konnie put their souls into its development. With the help of their son Stuart and daughter Mary Ellen, the current owners hope to carry on the winemaking legacy of the past while also developing the winery into a one-of-a-kind, boutique destination vineyard and winery with a strong emphasis on agricultural tourism. A summer wedding in a vineyard is the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. Stunning photographs and memories will be created by the natural background of our vineyards and gorgeous gardens, which you and your guests will cherish for a lifetime. We have a vineyard setting that will provide for a picture-perfect environment, regardless of whether your personal style is formal and sophisticated or informal and relaxed. The Des Moines Beach Park is located on the beaches of Puget Sound and offers a variety of water activities. Every visitor will enjoy this magnificent park, which has something for everyone. Photographers will find themselves in their element at any time of day with the vistas of the Olympic Mountains and the islands. For individuals of all ages, the beach provides hours of entertainment and discovery. The Des Moines Creek Trail is paved and offers two miles of breathtaking wooded areas for walkers, runners, bikers, and dog walkers to enjoy. The historic Auditorium, which is 5,700 square feet in size, is hidden amongst huge trees and hillside vegetation, with the Des Moines Creek softly flowing past. It is an excellent location for huge events of various kinds, including weddings, training sessions, meetings, seminars, product launches, and more. In addition to historic stained-glass windows, cathedral ceilings with exposed wooden beams, and a wall of accordion doors that open to a vast 1,800 sq ft tree-lined patio, the Auditorium also has a stage and a concession stand. Built in 1939, the Des Moines Field House is the only full log cabin in King County, set within Des Moines Beach Park between Puget Sound and the surrounding forest, about fifteen minutes south of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Its rustic log-cabin architecture — exposed beams, maple flooring, and a floor-to-ceiling cut-stone fireplace — gives the building a distinctive, historic character that has carried generations of celebrations. The Field House Gym anchors the space: a 4,000-square-foot hall that seats up to 150 guests and includes a 19-by-16-foot stage along with banquet tables and chairs. It suits weddings, elopements, banquets, receptions, fundraisers, and company events, with green space surrounding the building for gatherings that extend outdoors. Limited onsite and street parking is available. Part of the Beach Park Event Center, the Field House pairs its historic setting with the flexibility to host both formal receptions and casual celebrations.

Set in the South Puget Sound city of Des Moines, Washington, the Des Moines Activity Center is a versatile event venue built around the Mt. Rainier Room — a 5,448-square-foot space with hardwood floors, a large stone fireplace, and peek-a-boo views of Mount Rainier. Two adjoining auxiliary rooms and a commercial kitchen can be added to the rental, and an on-site facility attendant is included throughout each event. The indoor space opens onto a 2,500-square-foot patio bordered by grass and mature trees, alongside Mary's Rose Garden, where a trellised area and fountain make a natural backdrop for outdoor ceremonies. The venue accommodates up to 120 guests and suits weddings, elopements, family celebrations, presentations, and company meetings. Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are available, and the commercial kitchen allows hosts to self-cater or bring in the caterer of their choice.

AMVETS Post 1 — Alvah R. Dravis Post 1 — is a veterans organization hall in southwestern Tacoma, Washington, near the banks of Puget Sound. The post opens its doors to the community for weddings, graduations, birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and other special events. The heart of the venue is a spacious hall that divides easily into smaller rooms, so hosts can scale the space to the occasion: an intimate small-hall setup for 25 to 50 guests, a medium configuration for 75 to 100, or the full ballroom, which accommodates up to 200. A modern on-site kitchen stocked with basic supplies gives hosts the freedom to bring in their preferred caterer, and plenty of parking keeps arrivals simple. Every rental supports the work of the nonprofit veterans post that calls the building home.

The Mountaineers Tacoma Program Center sits in historic Old Town Tacoma. It overlooks Commencement Bay. The building serves as a hub for Mountaineers activities. It also hosts community and corporate events for private and public organizations. Local businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, and the general public can rent space here. The facility is newly renovated. It offers three rooms for meetings, training sessions, and social events. The Great Hall adjoins a caterer food staging area with modest kitchen facilities. It seats up to 85 guests theater-style. It accommodates up to 150 guests for a reception. The Classroom fits about 30 guests at tables or 42 theater-style. The Boardroom seats 10 guests around a table, plus 6 to 8 observer chairs. In 2024, the Tacoma Program Center completed a Net Zero Plus energy project. Solar panels and battery backup now let the building produce and store more energy than it consumes. Parking is available in a public lot at North 30th and North Carr Streets, plus on-street parking nearby.

The Fuzhou Ting is a 30-by-40-foot ornate Chinese pavilion set within Tacoma's Chinese Reconciliation Park, along the Ruston Way waterfront on Puget Sound. The pavilion was a gift from Fuzhou, China — one of Tacoma's sister cities — including its design, materials, and construction assistance, given in support of the city's Chinese reconciliation efforts. Managed for rentals by Metro Parks Tacoma through a partnership with the City of Tacoma, the Fuzhou Ting hosts small-scale outdoor private events such as weddings and ceremonies. The open-air pavilion accommodates up to 100 guests standing beneath its roof and along its outer perimeter, with the waterfront and Puget Sound as a backdrop. It is available seasonally from June through September, in two-hour rental blocks.

The Fife Community Center is a flexible event venue operated by the City of Fife's Parks and Recreation department in Fife, Washington. Its large banquet hall accommodates up to 225 guests and divides into three separate rooms with solid partitions, making it well suited to gatherings ranging from family reunions and birthday parties to weddings and business meetings. Each of the three rooms holds up to 75 guests and carries its own character: one features a fireplace, another a stage, and the third a pair of lighted alcoves with counter space. Two rooms can be combined to accommodate 150. Rentals include tables, chairs, a sound system, and complimentary Wi-Fi, with a full commercial kitchen available for an added fee. With no vendor restrictions, hosts are free to personalize their events, and free on-site parking is available. Discounted rates are offered to Fife residents.
