The history of Locke Falls Farm begins in the early 1900s, when stagecoach and rail travel were both common. Couples two-stepping through the hand-built dance pavilion could be heard in our antique barn setting. Visitors can now ascend to the homestead using the stones that originally served as the barn's foundation. The traditional sleeping porch, the bridal bedroom with soaking tub, and the stone patio for the rehearsal dinner or cocktails are just a few of the attractions of the wonderfully renovated farmhouse. Coppertoppe Inn and Retreat Center is a wedding and retreat venue set on 15 acres of natural woodlands and organic gardens on the shores of Newfound Lake in Hebron, New Hampshire. In operation since 2004, the property borders what the owners describe as one of the cleanest lakes in the world — the fourth largest in New Hampshire — with surrounding state parks, waterfalls, and hiking trails completing its natural setting. The venue has hosted more than 100 weddings, many officiated by co-owner Sheila Oranch, who has served as a Justice of the Peace for over fifteen years. Indoor ceremonies run year-round for parties of up to 18 guests, while a tented outdoor option opens in summer and fall to accommodate up to 30. Set on Lake Morey with surrounding forests and mountains, the center has spent decades hosting programs built around community, teamwork, and the outdoors, and it brings that same rustic, natural setting to weddings and private events. As a wedding venue, Hulbert Outdoor Center offers full-service extended weekend rentals as well as single-day bookings, with a historic barn and scenic outdoor ceremony sites along the lake. Rentals include a reception hall, tables, chairs, and tableware, on-site catering, on-site staff, and on-site housing, with premium activities available for couples who want to build outdoor experiences into their celebration.
