Douglas, a United States Senator who was instrumental in bringing the Illinois Central Railroad to Chicago) was also under construction at the same time as Humboldt Park during the time of its construction. The Douglas Park Cultural & Community Center, which opened in 2010, is a near-exact copy of the Humboldt Park Field House, which is startling. Several event areas are housed in the historic Field House, which boasts terrazzo floors and a large plaster ceiling with complex designs. Cocktails on the balcony with a view of the lagoon are a popular choice among guests. Gardens and the "Flower Hall" may be found outside, as well as an in-ground swimming pool and lily pools among the acres of stunning landscaping in Douglas Park's exterior. In the approximately 2,500 square feet of event area, hand carved mahogany and exposed brick create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The walls and light fixtures are adorned with upcycled bourbon barrel scraps. Huge windows flood the space with light and provide a view of Logan Square's lively neighborhood. There's plenty of room for entertainment or presentations with built-in A/V and a stage. The Tap Room, located at 3340 N. Kedzie Ave in the Avondale area, first opened its doors in 2012. Natural light floods in through windows lining the top of the space, which have high 30 foot ceilings. Our brewery's inner workings, including our state-of-the-art canning line, are visible through a floor-to-ceiling glass wall. A stunning backdrop for your next big event is a rack of barrels loaded with beer. The growth of the American beer scene has been nothing short of spectacular. Francesca's on 95th is an Italian trattoria in Oak Lawn, Illinois, part of the Scott Harris Hospitality family of restaurants. Opened in 2009, the restaurant draws on the rustic, earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding regions of Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio — bringing the warmth of an authentic neighborhood trattoria to the South Suburbs. The restaurant hosts private and semi-private events for groups of up to 75 guests, with service styles ranging from family-style and plated dinners to appetizer receptions. In-house catering is available for both on-site and off-site events, and the team works directly with hosts to coordinate menus and room configurations.

Baker Community Center is a historic recreation and community facility operated by the St. Charles Park District in downtown St. Charles, Illinois. Dedicated on May 1, 1926, as a gift from Edward J. and Harriet Rockwell Baker in memory of their son and local World War I veterans, the 19,150-square-foot building has served the community for a century — hosting classes, performances, and private events across its auditorium stage, lounge, and multipurpose rooms. Rentable spaces accommodate groups from 35 to 150 guests, with tables, chairs, and setup included in every rental. The center offers a full kitchen, in-house sound system, and on-street parking. A $1 million accessibility renovation in 2017 updated floors, entryways, and amenities throughout the building. The center also partners with the Norris Cultural Arts Center to support a performance venue with current stage technology.

Osteria Langhe is committed to a genuine appreciation of locally sourced fresh meats and products entrenched in the age-old traditions of Italy's Piemonte area, combined with Northern Italian wines of unparalleled pedigree. Our menu, created by Executive Chef Cameron Grant, focuses solely on the northwest Piemonte region. Osteria Langhe specializes in homemade pastas and Piemontese wine and has been named one of the greatest Italian restaurants in the country. Nellie's Band Room The Band Room, or main performance room, is our largest event venue, with a stage area and a large bar on the first floor. For an additional $250 and $100, respectively, you can use our cutting-edge sound system and/or lighting features. We can host and cater for nearly any type of event in this area, not just live music. - Dinners for up to 30 people, seated and plated - Up to 200 people can be served at a buffet. - Up to 400 guests, cash bar with limited food from the normal menu - We can accommodate 400+ guests if this space is combined with the Mezzanine upstairs. The Mezzanine The Mezzanine on the second floor gives a beautiful view of the show as well as a separate bar with access to the rooftop. This space is suitable for smaller gatherings, however there are restrictions on bookings for concerts and other events. Smaller groups of 10 to bigger groups of 125 seats or 200 standing can be accommodated on the Mezzanine. Lower Level Beer Garden On the first level, near the main entrance, there is an outdoor space. Up to 100 individuals can be accommodated. Weather permitting, available seasonally. Rooftop Patio Plan an outdoor event and dine al fresco on the northwest suburbs' only rooftop. It was October of 2019 when we opened our doors in the Albany Park neighborhood, just a few blocks north of the Kedzie Brown Line stop. After years in the service sector, the proprietor has worked as a photographer, chef, waiter, and all-around jack of all trades before opening his own business. Seasonal cocktails, late-night small plates and bar snacks, as well as rotating beer and wine, are served in an intimate and sophisticated space with attentive and friendly guest service. We host DJs and rotating art shows, as well as weekly service industry nights and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) nights.
