The Stone House is a historic event venue set within the Bear Creek Greenbelt in Lakewood, Colorado. Constructed between 1859 and 1864 from stones pulled from Bear Creek and rough-dressed sandstone quarried from the nearby hogback, the property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its 18-inch thick walls and age give it a character rare among Colorado wedding venues. The grounds sit within a manicured green setting of mature cottonwood trees, lawns, plant beds, and patio areas — with walking paths and ponds nearby for portraits after the ceremony.
