Founded in 1958 by the Junior League of Longview, the Longview Museum of Fine Arts (LMFA) has grown from a small annual art invitational into a cultural cornerstone of East Texas. The museum has been located on Tyler Street in downtown Longview since 1998, and its permanent collection has grown to nearly 1,200 works, including paintings, woodcuts, photographs, sculpture, and works on paper, centered on early Texas Regionalist art from the 1930s through the 1970s. Adjacent to the museum, the Pelaia Plaza JT Smith Sculpture Garden offers an outdoor gallery with a performance stage, landscaped grounds, and outdoor sculpture, serving as a green-space gathering spot in the heart of downtown Longview. LMFA's galleries, lecture hall, and classroom spaces are available for private event rental, hosting weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, reunions, and corporate events. TWO-STORY CLIMATE CONTROLLED BARN The 4,000-square-foot Dove Hollow Estate barn is framed with grey and white barn doors. Our bespoke iron and glass doors, which serve as the barn's main entrance and exit, are what set us apart. They're responsible for our barn's industrial/modern vibe, which we adore. The ambience for your wedding is set by 33 ft high ceilings with magnificent industrial teardrop glass chandeliers. Our barn also has 22 pane-less glass windows, some of which are almost 10 feet long, ensuring that your memories are completely captured. CHAPEL Our chapel features bench seating and can accommodate up to 200 people. It has a gloomy black exterior with gold hardware details and wide windows (to let your white outfit sparkle!). The interior is light and spacious, with industrial and modern design elements that nicely match the character of our barn welcoming area. The climate-controlled chapel is conveniently positioned next to the Dove Hollow Estate barn. Take in your indoor ceremony before heading over to the Barn for your reception! OUTDOOR CEREMONY SPACE If you want to have an outside ceremony, come out via our barn doors and meet your love under our oak tree. Electrical outlets are readily located throughout the venue for any DJ or ceremony needs. The seating for the outside event will be provided by our clients. The metal tolix chairs at Dove Hollow will only be used for reception. PRIVATE BRIDAL SUITE WITH BATHROOM Dove Hollow brides have their own place upstairs with a private bathroom, designed to make getting ready with your besties a calm experience. The suite features cosmetic stations, a full-length mirror, and lounge furniture, including a classic emerald green tufted sofa that is ideal for “getting ready” shots! Our structure features a lovely outside pavilion with a fireplace and courtyard, as well as an attractive old world interior with chandelier lighting. With endless photo options on their special day, you'll see why couples and photographers love coming to Willow Creek Ranch. A large barn made of hand-cut cedar, pine, and oak from the area. Our family built the entire barn and landscape by hand. Brides can choose between getting married in our lovely wooden barn or on our outside arbor. There's also a deck that looks out over a large koi pond with an illuminated fountain, which offers a lovely background for any wedding day. The site is set on 50 acres of land that was once a tree farm. Spring wildflower meadows, big dogwoods, flowering pink crab apples, and Chinese Pistache that turn gorgeous shades of scarlet and orange in the fall were all planted in rows decades ago. On your wedding day, we do our best to make things as convenient and uncomplicated as possible. The rental price includes the rooms, kitchen, reception, and outside areas. Brides will spend two hours on property with their photographer for bridal portraits prior to their wedding day. For $2,000, we put together a ceremony-only package for up to 50 guests. This includes the venue, the bridal suite and groom's room, the sign-in table, and the usage of our vintage chairs, among other things!
