Established in 1946 as the Gainesville Arts Association, the Quinlan Visual Arts Center has grown into a comprehensive visual arts nonprofit serving Gainesville, Georgia and the surrounding region. Set in historic downtown Gainesville, the center houses five named art galleries and a sculpture garden with old-growth trees — providing a distinctive backdrop that distinguishes it from conventional event venues. For private events, the Quinlan offers flexible access to its indoor and outdoor spaces, accommodating up to 300 guests with round tables and white folding chairs for up to 250 seated. A catering kitchen supports client-chosen caterers, and extended hours allow events to run until midnight with full weekend access for setup and breakdown. Rotating fine art exhibitions remain on the walls throughout, giving every event an ever-changing gallery setting. The Powell Barn's Background Powell Barn & Events is a family-owned and operated special events location in the gorgeous North Georgia Mountains' foothills. Our event will take place on our private 200-acre horse farm, which features a unique mix of grazing pastures, breathtaking mountain views, and isolated forest trails. Momma and Papa Powell, their 6 children, and 11 grandchildren make up the Powell Family, a close-knit and friendly community of nearly 25 members. After all six Powell children exchanged vows on the gorgeous family land—each making it their own with the huge range of possibilities we offer with our two event sites—the family decided to create this business. The Barn can accommodate up to 130 guests and has a spectacular mountain view, whereas The Woods is located down a meandering walk among tall trees and lush ferns and is better suited for a smaller group of up to 75 people. The Barn is a wonderful place to visit. A rustic open-air barn setting with wandering grasslands, majestic mountain ranges, and breathtaking sunset views straight from our ceremony and reception locations. The Barn features a 6,000-square-foot room with glittering lights, antique furniture, and a lovely outdoor arbor that can be covered and decorated. Tables and chairs, table linens, a dance floor, a variety of stunning centerpieces, plus the use of a Bridal Suite and Grooms Area for those finishing touches are all included in this area! With so many photo opportunities all around this site, there are unlimited possibilities for creating a magical ceremony to remember! The Forest Nestled among lush ferns and towering oak trees is a private and whimsical forest ceremony site. To speak your vows in front of friends and family, walk through our wooded arbor to a massive wooden cross. Access to the main house with two facilities, a tent rental with twinkling lights, tables and chairs, a specialized bride and groom table, as well as a Bridal Suite and Grooms Area will be available with the Woods option. This lovely trail on our property provides a one-of-a-kind and charming environment for a very intimate ceremony.

It all started about six decades ago, when a young couple bought a piece of acreage deep in the Northeast Georgia Mountains. Cecil and Juanita Crumley decided to make their home there with unwavering confidence. They built a home and started a dairy farm on the property, where they raised their six children with love. Cecil and Juanita remained hopeful throughout their lives that their farm would be blessed with both rain and sunlight, allowing them to reap a bountiful harvest. There were good years and hard years, but their faith in each other and their love for one another never wavered. The parents chose to give a portion of the land to their children several years later out of love. The Venue at CeNita and CeNita Vineyards, Winery & Tasting Room are now located on that property. The spectacular event site was a labor of love for the Crumley children and their family, who wished to celebrate their hardworking and dedicated parents' legacy. In addition to exclusivity, your Chapel wedding includes a luxurious bridal suite with a make-up area and hair styling station, a custom mirror for seeing bridal gowns, and a big changing area with a separate bathroom door, which are not often offered at alternative locations. The groom and his groomsmen can also prepare for the wedding in a designated area. The Chapel features gothic door entrances, a large water feature for stunning photographs, and a caterer's kitchen with plenty of room for your celebration. Linens, flowers, mirror columns, tea light holders, candelabras, and other accessories are available for hire. There is plenty of parking on-site, and an officer will be there to assure your and your guests' safety. The Chapel The Chapel can accommodate up to 300 people. The Terrace The Terrace features a well-kept oval lawn, an Italian rotunda, and a rustling tree and bubbling water backdrop. It's ideal for any outdoor occasion, at any time of year. The Amphitheater At the amphitheater, any major event can be made memorable. The expansive open space and stunning natural surroundings provide a unique outdoor experience for your special occasion. A huge outdoor stage can be customized to meet any requirement. The Reception Hall The Reception Hall is a 2,500-square-foot blank canvas for you to transform into your ideal event. It's simple to host a large gathering of people thanks to the adjoining catering kitchen. Elegant plated dinners, dancing the night away, and socializing with guests are all possible at the Reception Hall. The Pavilion The Pavilion provides a covered outdoor space with a magnificent environment and water as a backdrop. The Walters Barn is a wedding and event venue nestled on over 600 acres in the quiet North Georgia countryside near Lula, Georgia. Set against green pastures, rolling hills, and a scenic pond, the property offers both an expansive indoor barn and outdoor ceremony settings along a lakefront, at the forest's edge, or facing the barn itself. The main barn accommodates up to 250 seated guests and features covered porches, two large built-in bars, stone accents and columns, an indoor and outdoor balcony, locally crafted chandeliers, and a clean kitchen. All rentals include 10 hours of event time, setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and linens, and day-of coordination provided by Soirées Southern Events. An additional pavilion on the property can seat up to 70 guests for overflow or ancillary gatherings. The Walters Barn is suited for weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, and corporate events, offering flexibility across a working rural landscape with the infrastructure to support full-scale celebrations.

The Fair Street Neighborhood Center is a standalone rental facility operated by the City of Gainesville, Georgia, suited for meetings, workshops, baby and bridal showers, receptions, and weddings. Situated near downtown Gainesville at 715 Fair Street, the center occupies the former site of the Fair Street pool. The interior features carpeted floors, large windows, and patios at both ends of the building. The main hall can be configured as one open room accommodating up to 100 banquet-style guests or divided into two separate 900-square-foot rooms for smaller gatherings. A catering kitchen with a pass-through window, a conference room for eight, and an outdoor pavilion round out the available spaces. City staff remain on site throughout every event, and ample parking is available on the grounds. The venue does not permit alcohol due to its proximity to Fair Street International Academy. Audiovisual equipment is included, and tables and chairs are provided with each rental.

The Gainesville Civic Center is a municipal event facility near downtown Gainesville, Georgia, 50 miles north of Atlanta in the foothills of the Northeast Georgia mountains. The center's Grand Ballroom — spanning 6,840 square feet — features hardwood floors, a fireplace, large windows, a grand entrance, a draped ceiling, and a covered porch with an open patio, accommodating up to 715 guests for theater-style seating or 400 for banquets. Nine additional rooms serve smaller gatherings, from the Chestatee Room (3,429 sq ft, up to 130 for banquets) and Chattahoochee Room (2,500 sq ft, up to 120 for banquets) down to intimate boardroom and meeting spaces. All rentals include tables, chairs, setup, and A/V equipment; the facility permits self-catering and alcohol with applicable fees, and maintains a list of approved caterers with access to the catering kitchen.
