The Variety Works is a historic event venue in Madison, Georgia, originally constructed in the 1870s as a manufacturing facility and thoughtfully restored to serve as a one-of-a-kind gathering space. Soaring exposed-beam ceilings, warm heart pine walls, and glittering chandeliers give the space a character that is at once rustic and refined — a combination that works equally well for destination weddings, fundraising galas, and private celebrations. The venue accommodates up to 250 guests indoors, expanding to 350 when the outdoor spaces are included. Two built-in custom bars — one on the main floor and one on the upstairs balcony seating area — keep service flowing throughout the event. A bridal suite and groom's quarters are also on-site for the wedding party. Outside, an open patio overlooks a lake, while a gazebo at Round Bowl Spring and a lake with a fountain backdrop provide ceremony settings suited to the Madison landscape. We enjoy our wedding business at Beautiful Beginnings Farm, and we're excited to announce that we're expanding. We decided it was time to brick in the pavilion and install some wonderful rustic windows that can be left open if desired. It is equipped with a heating and air system as well as additional tables to seat up to 185 people. This also provides us with a better backup plan in the event of adverse weather. If rain is expected, the ceremony might be held in the Pavilion. We're ecstatic about our progress and can't wait to tell our potential clients about it. Originally built in 1916, the rustic charm and character of the space has been maintained in our recent restoration. Our main room can easily be transformed into a customized space. In addition to its stunning details, Vintage On 1st also offers a private Bridal suite and access to a quaint caterer’s kitchen. More than being aesthetically pleasing and extremely functional, Vintage On 1st also includes chairs and a selection of tables.

The Lodge on Lake Oconee sits on the shore of a quiet cove on Lake Oconee in Eatonton, Georgia, roughly a two-hour drive from Atlanta. Burge Plantation is a historic 1,000-acre farm in Mansfield, Georgia, situated about 45 minutes east of Atlanta. The property centers on a home built in 1921 and has served as a private hunting, shooting, and family club for generations, offering the traditional charm of its storied past alongside modern facilities and services. Weddings and private events take place across several settings on the property. Ceremonies are held on the front steps of the Main House, beneath the stately oaks in the front yard, in the formal garden, or on the croquet lawn. Receptions follow in and around the elegant Burge Conservatory — a 1,800-square-foot space with an adjoining covered terrace, both of which can be heated or cooled for year-round comfort. Paula's Porch, a converted barn adjacent to the shooting range, provides a more rustic setting with 2,000 square feet of space. The Lodge accommodates smaller gatherings, and surrounding lawns and gardens offer additional outdoor options. The venue includes two cottages reserved for the wedding party, tables, chairs, linens, and other essentials, and draws on a farm-to-table approach to catering with organic herbs and vegetables grown on the property. Burge Plantation accommodates events from April through October.
