The Moore House is a 130-year-old landmark in the heart of the Kenwood Neighborhood. Eight bedrooms, Four Floors, and a story woven into the fabric of Minneapolis itself. Originally designed and built in 1892 by Minneapolis architect Edward Somerby Stebbins, the house is more widely known as the “Mary Tyler Moore House”. The exterior was used for the fictitious 119 North Weatherly address that Mary moved to when she arrived in Minneapolis, and the opening credits show Mary leaving the home to head to her job at WJM-TV. At that time of the show's recording (1970-1977), the area behind the iconic windows was just an unfinished attic, but now features a comfortable family room, with nods to her legendary residency. Facilities and Capacity Hyland Hills Chalet can seat up to 300 guests. Inside the chalet, the Alpine Room is available for indoor ceremonies and receptions. This welcoming space features a soaring pine ceiling and expansive windows for ample natural light. There are also dressing rooms, restrooms, a sound system, and a dance floor, so you'll have everything you need for a great night's entertainment. An outdoor patio with tables and chairs gives the space an indoor-outdoor feel, and is perfect for yard games or cocktail hour. A second space, the Ridgeview Room, is included with weekend rentals, and can be used for storage or getting ready. Ceremony Options Included in your room rental are ceremony sites indoors or on the Great Lawn. Hyland Hills Ski Area offer an optional picturesque hilltop site for outdoor ceremonies (June 1 - September 30), letting you exchange vows surrounded by breathtaking views. Your guests will be transported to the ceremony site on a chair lift for an extra-special touch. Services Offered The team at Hyland Hills Ski Area will provide you with tables and chairs, an audiovisual system with a projector and screen, and flat-screen TVs. Hyland recommends a DJ or Band to provide your reception sound. An event assistant will be on-site throughout the day to handle anything venue related. Battle Creek Regional Park is a regional park managed by Ramsey County Parks & Recreation, with sections in Saint Paul and Maplewood, Minnesota. The park's primary gathering facility is a large indoor pavilion at the Maplewood east section, offering interior seating for up to 500 guests and featuring two kitchens. On weekdays, the pavilion divides into north and south halves accommodating 150 and 250 guests respectively, providing flexibility for smaller events. A separate covered shelter accommodates up to 75 guests, suited for picnics and casual group gatherings. The park's east section at 2300 Upper Afton Road is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Recreational amenities include paved and mountain biking trails, a large playground and nature play area, a dog park, picnic tables with grills, and a winter recreation area with sledding hills and cross-country ski and snowshoe trails.

Landmark Center is a Richardsonian Romanesque landmark in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota, completed in 1902 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by Willoughby J. Edbrooke — Supervising Architect of the U.S. Treasury — the building features a pink granite exterior quarried in St. Cloud, a five-story central courtyard, 20-foot ceilings, and marble and mahogany finishes throughout. Originally the Federal Courthouse, Custom House, and U.S. Post Office for the Upper Midwest, it was restored in 1978 and now operates as a cultural and event center managed by Minnesota Landmarks, a nonprofit organization. The venue's signature gathering space is the Musser Cortile, a 7,200-square-foot atrium that accommodates 320 guests for a seated dinner and dancing setup, 400 in theater configuration, or up to 750 for a standing reception. For smaller gatherings, three historic courtrooms — the Ramsey County Room, Butler Room, and Chief Justice Room — seat 40 to 80 guests for dinners. The F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium seats up to 220 in theater style. All rentals include setup, cleanup, and basic AV equipment.

The Minnesota Humanities Event Center is a full-service meeting and retreat center housed in a restored 1924 building originally constructed as part of Gillette Children's Hospital. Set on the east side of St. Paul near the southern edge of Phalen Regional Park, the facility pairs historic architecture with a natural setting — walking and biking paths, a beach, and a golf course are within easy reach. Four meeting rooms accommodate groups from 8 to 120 guests, ranging from the intimate Ivy Room and Board Room to the larger Library and the Commons, which seats 100 at oval tables or 120 in theatre configuration. For multi-day programming, 15 overnight guest rooms — 12 with queen beds and 3 with double beds, each with a private bath — make the center one of the few Twin Cities facilities equipped for full residential retreats under one roof. All-inclusive day, half-day, and evening packages cover in-house catering with locally-sourced ingredients, wireless internet, A/V equipment, and free on-site parking. The facility is ADA compliant and smoke-free throughout.
