Thank you for taking the time to look over our property. Since 2015, we've been hosting weddings, and it's been a true honor. We offer weddings for up to 180 people on weekends from mid-May to October, and smaller celebrations throughout the year. We offer two locations for ceremonies: a 150-year-old eucalyptus and cypress grove with a stunning view of the sea, and our front garden (with the bay towering enormous in the background). Receptions are held in our 160-year-old hay barn, which has recently been rebuilt, and we can also host your rehearsal dinner and next-day brunch on the front lawn. The ranch is a perfect intimate, comfortable, and gorgeous spot for family and friends to hang out, play lawn games, and use as a home base to explore West Marin, including kayaking, hiking, local oysters, and artisan cheeses. Our hope is to host couples who have a love for nature and want to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by some of Northern California’s most rare and exclusive coastal landscape views. The Haven at Tomales is located on a family-owned ranch and private estate. The historic barn and terraced gardens have dreamy views of canyons and one of California’s largest Eucalyptus forests with a unique history of its own. The rolling hills and sweeping tree groves are a sanctuary for some of California’s most beloved wildlife creatures. The family who oversees the ranch is passionate about land conservation and environmentally responsible farming practices. The land has been at the forefront of soil and riparian preservation practices with a focus on regeneration of the land and carbon sequestration using managed livestock grazing. They believe each piece of conservation is uniquely important towards respecting our world’s precious resources. Lodge at Marconi sits on 62 acres of historic parkland along the east shore of Tomales Bay in West Marin County, California — about an hour north of San Francisco. The property occupies the grounds of the former Marconi Wireless Station, a California State Historic Park now managed as a modern coastal retreat and hotel offering both lodging and private events. Eight distinct indoor and outdoor event spaces accommodate gatherings from intimate meetings of 30 in the Lodge Lobby to outdoor celebrations of up to 250 on Tower Hill, the park's highest vantage point with sweeping views of Tomales Bay, Point Reyes, and Inverness Ridge. Other spaces include Buck Hall — the largest indoor venue with high ceilings and bay views — along with the Courtyard, Amphitheatre, McCargo Hall, Cypress Hall, Pine Hall, and Mable's Restaurant. Nick's Cove sits along the shores of Tomales Bay in Marshall, California — a historic coastal property with roots stretching back to 1931, when Nick and Frances Kojich converted a former herring curing facility into a waterfront gathering place serving travelers, fishermen, and sportsmen from across California. Today, the property preserves that original character while offering modern amenities, operating as a destination restaurant, lodging retreat, and private event venue along Highway One in West Marin. Four distinct indoor and outdoor spaces accommodate gatherings ranging from intimate private dining of 24 guests on the Waterfront Lounge patio to full-property buyouts of up to 120 guests, incorporating the entire restaurant and outdoor areas. The venue has long been described as one of the last remaining historic settlements still catering to the tourist trade on this stretch of coastline, with its bayfront piers, renovated cottages, and sweeping bay views setting the backdrop for weddings, corporate retreats, and special celebrations.
