When you get married at the Morrison-Clark Hotel, which is conveniently located in the heart of Washington, DC, you can take advantage of its rich history, great gastronomy, and impeccable service standards to create the wedding of your dreams. The Morrison-Clark opened its doors in 1987 following a restoration effort overseen by William Adair (who was also in charge of the White House's repairs) of two Victorian town houses erected in 1864 by the Morrison and Clark families and held by the Morrison and Clark families. The Soldiers, Sailors, and Marine Club was established in 1930 by the Women's Army and Navy League, who purchased the town homes and converted them into a military housing facility for military personnel passing through the nation's capital. Although the Club was known for hosting silver teas and Sunday coffee, it was also a popular gathering place for high society women such as First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady Admiral Dewey, and First Lady Calvin Coolidge, among others. In 2013, the hotel launched an extension project to integrate the adjoining Parsonage and Chinese Community Church into its premises, as well as an 18th Century Carriage House, thus enriching the rich heritage present inside our walls. Ostertag Vistas is a 164-acre historic farm property tucked in a quiet valley near Myersville, Maryland, 15 minutes from both Frederick and Hagerstown. The grounds include three landmarked structures dating to 1711 — among them a circa-1700s stone pioneer home with a water wheel and a mid-1700s log cottage built by early German settlers — alongside rolling hills, a farm pond, streams, and meadows that attract blue herons, bald eagles, and migrating geese. The centerpiece of the property is a carefully restored 18th-century German Swiss bank barn, known as The Barn. Its 50-foot ceiling, original mortise-and-tenon timber frame held by wooden pegs, three stone fireplaces, and large glass panels looking out over the 164 acres make it the focal point for weddings and receptions. The Barn accommodates up to 200 seated guests and includes a bridal suite, groom's room, five restrooms, a loft stage, and a small museum — with barn doors that open to the surrounding landscape. Beyond the barn, couples choose from six additional outdoor ceremony settings across the property: a forested hollow with streams and fern beds, an open meadow with willow trees and a pond, a hillside amphitheater, a patio framed by two pergolas with farmland views, and the log cottage's garden with a stream and brick walkway.

The Great Room at Historic Savage Mill occupies a section of a working textile mill built in 1820 along the Little Patuxent River in Savage, Maryland. Amos Williams and his brothers founded the mill that year, powering their weaving machines with a 30-foot water wheel until operations ceased in 1947. The entire complex is listed on the National Historic Register, and the grounds include the last standing Bollman Truss semi-suspension bridge in the world — a landmark visible from the venue's expansive outdoor deck. The Great Room itself rises to 25-foot ceilings, with fourteen-foot-high windows and skylights that bring in natural light across the main hall. The space accommodates up to 275 guests for buffet-style events and up to 300 for seated dinners, anchored by a 20-by-40-foot dance floor — among the largest in the area. A tented outdoor deck adjoins the main room and holds up to 180 guests for ceremonies or receptions, with views of the river and the historic bridge. Putting on the Ritz, the exclusive on-site caterer, has managed events at the venue for over 20 years. Tables, chiavari chairs, a sound system, projectors, podium, and wireless internet are all included with rental. Parking is free and unlimited on site.

Harrison's Harbor Watch has been a landmark on the Ocean City, Maryland waterfront since 1984, when brothers John and Hale Harrison opened the restaurant as the next chapter in a family hospitality legacy tracing back to 1884. The two-story, 444-seat seafood restaurant is built around large timber columns and beams and filled with nautical décor and historic photographs that preserve the maritime character of the inlet.
