Located in the gorgeous Cascade Foothills, only an hour south of Seattle, the Wallace Falls Lodge is a lovely 10 bedroom, 10 bathroom vacation rental lodge. Wallace Falls State Park, which borders the Lodge and offers guests over 12 miles of hiking trails as well as the iconic 265-foot cascade, is just a short drive away. This vacation rental property is ideal for a number of occasions, including celebrations, reunions, and business meetings, among others. Nestled in the magnificent Cascade Foothills on approximately ten acres, The Wallace Falls Lodge makes for a stunning and charming wedding setting. The sweeping green lawns, ceremonial arch, and backdrop of Cascade Mountain create the ideal location for a wedding ceremony. The Lodge is an excellent choice if you are looking for an outdoor venue that gives you the freedom to pick your own caterer and purchase your own wine, as well as the convenience of sleeping on site. However, the Lodge grounds can accommodate up to 300 guests in addition to the 120 included in our wedding packages. Designed in 1920s, the columned hall was modeled after classic Greek architecture. It has recently been restored to its original Greek Revival-style exterior, its white paint gleaming in the sunlight. Walk across an expanse of lush green grass and admire the hall’s elegant fan-shaped window. Enter the double doors to discover original fir flooring and elaborate millwork. You can appreciate the illumination of the cove ceiling, by virtue of simple and elegant light fixtures. Situated in the pastoral Heritage Park, the Heritage Hall delivers wonderful views of the surrounding city and lakefront. Take photographs amidst flowering gardens during the spring and summer. The Grand Willow is an all-inclusive wedding venue in Mount Vernon, Washington, with both indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies and receptions of up to 200 guests. The Gazebo Garden serves as the outdoor ceremony setting, framed by the property's garden landscaping, while the Grand Room stands ready indoors during inclement weather and doubles as overflow space for larger dinners. Receptions carry on in the Carriage Room, known on-site as the Party Room, which includes a dedicated area for dancing, or extend outdoors into the Center Courtyard for open-air dining. Couples preparing for the day have use of a private Bridal Suite and Groom's Room, and the grounds include photo backdrops such as the Willow Tree and the Archway. The venue's all-inclusive package covers tables, chairs, linens, decor such as twinkle lights and candles, a sound system, a day-of coordinator, and full setup and breakdown, along with in-house catering from La Conner Seafood & Prime Rib House and in-house bartending. A separate Tiny Wedding Package scales the same services down for up to 30 guests, adding DJ, photography, and officiant services. Built in 1923, this cozy venue looks like an old home but was built as a “Mission Hall”. In 2012, community members and church leaders came together with a shared vision to open the space for community engagement. Major renovations began with design assistance from Nathan Marion of Lonely Buildings. Local contractors, many volunteers from the community, Abbey Arts, Seattle Works, and church groups helped with the project. In 2014 a partnership was created with Abbey Arts, a local nonprofit arts organization that presents and curates creative events at historic spaces around Seattle. After a two-year renovation process the Homestead is now host to community events, concerts (bluegrass, acoustic, folk, children), family events, workshops, classes and much more. The building maintains its old time house feel with a focus on sustainability and community interaction through arts, culture and education.

The Center for Urban Horticulture is a 16-acre landscaped campus of the University of Washington Botanic Gardens, established in 1984 alongside the adjoining 74-acre Union Bay Natural Area, an ecological restoration laboratory where more than 200 bird species have been documented. Its buildings sit within display gardens and greenhouses used for horticultural research and education. At the center of the campus, Merrill Hall was the first certified "green building" on the UW Seattle campus and houses the Center's administrative offices, the Elisabeth C. Miller Library, and the Otis Douglas Hyde Herbarium. The Center rents both indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings, mitzvahs, memorials, conferences, and retreats, accommodating groups of 20 to 200 guests indoors and up to 350 outdoors. NHS Hall, the Center's main reception venue, can be divided into three sections and opens onto McVay Courtyard, while the adjoining glass-enclosed Merrill Commons serves as supplementary space for dining, breakout sessions, and dancing. Outdoors, couples and groups can gather among the trees of Goodfellow Grove or on the open Event Lawn, surrounded by the Center's gardens.

Red Cedar Farm sits on Lofall Road in Poulsbo, Washington, a property Andrea and Gregg bought as a family retreat in 1987 and then, over the years, filled with more than a thousand trees, a pumpkin patch, a hardy kiwi orchard, and an antique shop built from Gregg's own collecting habit. Weddings came later: the farm began hosting events after 2009, inspired by a local venue, and held its first wedding in 2012. It still books no more than one event per day. The centerpiece is the Barn, a heated reception space converted from a former chicken house and carport that seats 150. Ceremonies move outdoors to the Arbor or, when the weather insists otherwise, under the Pergola. The bridal party dresses in a suite with its own building for bridesmaids; the groom gets a 130-year-old restored barn to himself. Guests circulate through the Terrace courtyard, warm up at the stone fire pit, or find their way to the Arcade, a room of more than fifteen vintage pinball machines dating to the 1950s through the early '70s. The grounds still function as a working farm, with goats and donkeys on hand for the Farm & Play Area, a catering kitchen, four ADA-accessible restrooms, and parking for 25 cars — anyone else takes the shuttle.

The historic Golden Gardens Bathhouse, located just west of the Ballard district and within the famed Golden Gardens Park, was constructed in the 1930s and is a must-see attraction. In the winter, the bathhouse is kept warm by independent heating, while in the summer, it is kept cool by cross ventilation. The Main Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 140 seated people, and it can accommodate up to 295 standing visitors for a standing-room-only event in its entirety. The Main Hall has a cathedral ceiling with numerous skylights that allow plenty of natural light to stream into the room.

With sweeping views of the mountains and waterways, the pavilion features state of the art audio/visual, vaulted ceilings, a 20 foot skylight and west facing window walls that fully open. Combine the outdoor patio with the pavilion for a distinctive Ballard experience. The Olympic Rooftop Pavilion at Stoneburner, which is located along Ballard Avenue within the Hotel Ballard, offers an amazing urban paradise experience that is ideal for any private event or wedding reception. The venue's interior features soaring ceilings, a 20-foot skylight, south and west facing window walls that open completely, and sweeping views of the mountains and waterways, while the pavilion's outside patio is an ideal setting for an open-air event or cocktail reception. BOOKING IS AVAILABLE NOW The following are some of the venue's highlights: Up to 150 people can be accommodated for cocktail receptions. Up to 130 people can be accommodated for a seated, family-style supper. The glass walls on the south and west sides are completely open; the space can be used as an open air space.
