Willow Spring Vineyards is a picture-perfect location for unforgettable events in our hand-hewn post and beam barn, which sits on more than twenty acres of land. The barn can accommodate up to 99 people for events. A large landscape project completed in 2015 resulted in a lovely lawn area and patio with a stunning fireplace. This grass is large enough to accommodate a tent for up to 200 people. In the year 2000, Jim and Cindy Parker bought a dilapidated barn and a plot of land from Mary Ray. We started the adventure with a strong focus on restoration and agriculture. Beginning with the dismantling of the eighteenth-century building, we began mapping and marking each piece in preparation for potential re-assembly. The edifice was pulled down piece by piece and logged for rebuilding with the help of family, friends, neighbors, and passers-by. For the huge space, an energy efficient system was designed as part of the green building planning. This barn is truly green, thanks to geothermal heating and cooling and a photovoltaic system (solar panels). Our two acres of grapes surround the beautiful 18th century barn, which can easily be seen from the road. The magnificent 25+ acres continue behind the barn, which may be appreciated from the wraparound deck or in front of the majestic hearth.

  Borsari Gallery

  Sea Captain Uriah Howe originally built the Barn that now houses the Borsari Gallery in the early 1800s. The barn's first purpose was to serve as a commercial abattoir for Cape Cod and its environs. The Crowell family held the Sea Captain's home and abattoir for for a century, until it was purchased by Cape Cod local artist David Grose in 1960 and utilized to showcase his work. Bob and Kathy Borsari bought the property in 2008 and undertook a three-year renovation that was both elaborate and historically appropriate. The post and beam construction was lovingly restored to its original New England rustic elegance. The original pumpkin pine flooring was exposed, the century-old "ice box" was used, and the historic 1800s track & pulley system that was employed on the property when it was an operating abattoir was displayed. It was at this point that the barn's original beauty was revealed. While the original goal of the restoration was to create a setting that would allow Bob and Kathy to continue the history of presenting good art, it was clear by the end that they had produced much more than an art gallery. As a result, the Borsari Gallery was born: "Exceptional Image & Memorable Events." A pleasant and sophisticated environment with plenty of atmosphere; an ideal and surely unusual place for small gatherings of up to 100 people.

  For each family, occasion, wedding, or event, By the Sea Guests has it all. The inn has a bed and breakfast with simple guest rooms with one or two beds, apartment-styled one or two bedroom suites, and vacation houses, all of which are ideal for family reunions, special celebrations, or wedding parties. Our three inns contain a total of 46 rooms, all of which are either next door to one other or one block apart. Two of the inns are directly on the beach. One of the inns allows pets. We're off Chase Avenue in Dennis Port, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod's Mid-Cape. We can offer room blocks, though we prefer that customers book directly with us on a first-come, first-served basis.   The Jethro Coffin House, also known as the Oldest House on Sunset Hill, dates back to 1686, making it arguably the oldest dwelling still standing on its original site in Nantucket. At the time of its construction, Nantucket's English population numbered in the hundreds, while the native Wampanoag people outnumbered them by a considerable margin. Constructed as a wedding gift for Jethro Coffin (1663–1727) and Mary Gardner (1670–1767), the house symbolizes the union of two prominent Nantucket families. Jethro, being the grandson of one of the island's original landowners, Tristram Coffin, and Mary, the daughter of John Gardner, a key figure in the island's Half-Share Revolt. Despite historical tensions between the Gardners and the Coffins, Mary and Jethro's marriage helped bridge divides and bring the families together. Situated on Gardner land and built with Coffin lumber, the house serves as a tangible representation of this familial unity. In the late 19th century, the house fell into disuse and disrepair until a Coffin family reunion in 1881 sparked renewed interest. The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) acquired the property in 1923, and the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (now Historic New England) began extensive restoration work in 1927 to restore the house to its original state. Designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1968, the house faced further challenges in 1987 when it was struck by lightning, leading to significant damage requiring extensive repairs and partial reconstruction of the roof and chimney. Today, the Oldest House stands as a tribute to Nantucket's earliest English settlers, offering visitors a window into life on the island in the 17th century. Efforts have been undertaken to recreate the historical landscape surrounding the Oldest House. The kitchen garden, situated behind the house, is a reconstruction of a circa-1700 herb and vegetable garden, maintained without modern fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. Using a raised-bed system typical of the era, the garden features common vegetables such as carrots, onions, cabbages, and parsnips, alongside around thirty varieties of herbs used for culinary, medicinal, or household purposes.

The Cultural Center and its grounds, like the Lighthouse, look out over the stunning clay cliffs and are conveniently located within walking distance of a number of restaurants, stores, and Moshup Beach (public beach). Since the Reverend Robert Ratcliffe celebrated New England's first wedding here on May 18, 1686, only three days after his arrival in Boston, King's Chapel has hosted hundreds of weddings. Friends and family will be able to watch you exchanging vows and taking another step along life's journey together in our historic sanctuary, which was erected in 1754. We provide a more intimate setting in The Little Chapel at our Parish House, a beautiful townhouse with its own charm at 64 Beacon Street, for weddings with less than 50 guests. Our wedding service is based on Anglican tradition and is available in our Prayerbook. It is a traditional ceremony during which the pair exchanges vows and rings as a symbol of their commitment. Friends and relatives are asked if they will stand with you and support you while you keep each other safe. The event closes with a blessing, with everyone invested in the union. We welcome you to attend our 11 a.m. Sunday services to become acquainted with our liturgy and the church.
