Brushy Creek Event Center sits on 53 acres in Farmersville, Texas, where it shares its land with ThrowAway Ponies, a horse rescue nonprofit. Founded in 2016 by Karen Bander and Jaclyn Bander, the venue hosts weddings, birthday parties, and corporate events in a rustic, country setting. The property's main barn spans 3,400 square feet, with a 30-by-60-foot main area that comfortably seats 110 guests for dinner, dancing, and a DJ setup, and holds up to 150 guests at max occupancy. The adjoining "Saloon" bar area opens onto both the outdoor patio and the indoor main space, with wine glasses available for rent, two mini fridges, and ample counter space. A groom's room and a full kitchen with two refrigerators, a dishwasher, and an oven round out the barn's amenities, with dishware and kitchenware also available for rent. Outdoors, couples can hold a ceremony overlooking the property's pond and tree line before moving the reception inside.
