The Villa Paula has miraculously survived the trauma of the devastating hurricane of 1926 and attempts to tear it down. The original bucolic environment of the villa grounds is preserved in the garden with its cascades of bougainvillea and its graceful pergola, perfect for enjoying food, wine, and music. Group accommodations are offered to large groups for 1 of our 3 private rooms or for our non-private option, on contract and preset menus. But while it is not mandatory to book large groups through Private Dining, it makes the dining experience for large groups as enjoyable as for a party of 2, while enabling our staff to provide the excellent service that is a part of Joe’s. Due to the current situation, tables in the restaurant are set 6’ apart, 4-6 guests per table and our guidelines for Private Dining have been modified. Guests must follow all current COVID-19 guidelines, including social distancing and wearing masks. In the restaurant, we offer 2 private rooms and a non private option. We also offer a smaller private room in Joe's Take Away, which is located next to the restaurant. All events, both private and non private, are scheduled for 2 hours for lunch or dinner. If the scheduled time is exceeded, an additional charge of $500.00 plus gratuity will be added to the bill for each additional thirty (30) minutes or any part thereof.

As a reminder, please arrive early because certain parking lots will close once their capacity is reached and will not reopen until enough parking space becomes available. Because of the high volume of visitors on weekends, reservations for shelters must be made at the ranger station entrance from Monday through Friday. Access to the lighthouse tower and keeper's cottage is only available during tour times; there are no additional fees or reservations required for this activity.
