Weddings at Blithewold take place in the beautiful North Garden, which is close to the Mansion. Following the ceremony, cocktails are served on the terraces and two covered porches of the magnificent turn-of-the-century Mansion, which overlooks the Great Lawn and its sweeping sunset views of Narragansett Bay. Guests can roam through the gardens and explore the property throughout the cocktail party and reception, exactly as they have for the previous century at Blithewold. Your guests will be escorted to our white 40' x 100' Century Wedding Tent and newly constructed wedding pavilion for dinner and dancing. The tent is near to our Linden Grove and has a great view of the Great Lawn. The freshly built wedding pavilion has handicapped-accessible facilities and a gorgeous, stunning bridal suite. We only allow one wedding each day to provide the most comfort, enjoyment, and personalization for your wedding. Year-round, a wedding ceremony-only package is also offered.

Newport Car Museum occupies an 80,000-square-foot former missile manufacturing facility on seven acres in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where it has displayed a private collection of more than 100 automobiles since opening in 2017. The collection spans eight decades of modern industrial automotive design, from the 1950s to the present, organized into curated galleries for Ford/Shelby cars, Corvettes, World Cars, Porsches, Fin Cars, Muscle Cars, and Mopars. Mid-Century modern furniture is displayed throughout the galleries alongside the cars, extending the museum's design focus beyond the automobiles themselves. For private events, the museum's Wheel Room offers an 1,800-square-foot multipurpose space that accommodates up to 100 guests in conference or social-style configurations, equipped with audio/visual capabilities and set against the backdrop of the museum's automotive and Mid-Century furniture collections. The museum is open daily and offers free parking for more than 300 vehicles.

Imagine having your wedding in one of America's most romantic and historic venues. Rosecliff offers spectacular ocean views, lush landscaped gardens and inspiring architecture. With Newport's largest private ballroom and a heart-shaped staircase, Rosecliff, built in 1902, was the setting for many of the most fabulous social events of the Gilded Age, including a fairytale dinner and party featuring magician Harry Houdini. Rosecliff continues in that tradition today, and has also been featured in many Hollywood films, including The Great Gatsby, True Lies, Evening and 27 Dresses.

A National Historic Landmark, Marble House was built for Mr. and Mrs. William K. Vanderbilt. It was the most lavish house in America when it opened in 1892. Marble House was the scene of both elaborate balls and rallies to raise funds for the women’s suffrage movement. The view from the canopied terrace overlooks the colorful Chinese Tea House and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Marble House is an exclusive rental experience. North Beach Clubhouse sits directly on the surf in Narragansett, a beach town on Rhode Island's southern coast, with panoramic ocean views and rolling sand dunes as its backdrop. The venue accommodates up to 100 guests for weddings, receptions, social parties, and corporate functions, and is open year-round for tours and events. The bright, airy indoor event space handles dining, while the expansive 54-by-66-foot deck overlooking the beach is where ceremonies, cocktail hours, and dancing take place. Couples typically exchange vows at the edge of the deck with the ocean as a backdrop, then head down to the beach afterward for photos. Renters at North Beach Clubhouse partner with one of the venue's pre-qualified caterers, while remaining free to choose their own photographers, florists, entertainers, and bakers.

The Herreshoff Marine Museum is a premier waterfront location for your next special event, such as a clambake, business meeting, small conference, corporate retreat, holiday party, regatta, wedding, or family reunion. The museum is located on the banks of the Hudson River. In the midst of dozens of exceptional historic Herreshoff boats on an exceptional waterfront property overlooking Bristol Harbor, our facilities provide a beautiful and historic setting for your event. The Museum provides several attractive options for your meeting, social event, or wedding, including the Waterfront, Hall of Boats, Aria Gallery, Conference Room, and the second floor of the historic Burnside Building, among other locations. All year long, the Museum offers a variety of unique indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate groups ranging from 25 to 200 people. Industrial heaters are used in the fall and winter to keep your party warm and toasty even in the coldest of temperatures. A special place to infuse your dinner or reception with a unique vibe, the Hall of Boats can be found on the ground floor of the Museum and is fully handicap accessible. It is the heart of the Herreshoff collection and is located on the ground floor of the Museum. Your event will take place among more than a dozen magnificent antique wooden boats, all of which were built by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, in this impressive space. Many of the boats are mounted on wheeled platforms that can be moved to accommodate and customize events of any size or configuration, including weddings. We have the capacity to accommodate 125 people for a seated dinner and 250 people for cocktails. On your request, a projection screen can be made available. Tables and chairs are always included in the rental price.
