The Oaks Events is a private lakeside venue set on 100 acres of farmland in Midland, North Carolina, located just outside Charlotte. The property centers on a four-acre lake surrounded by mature oak tree canopies and open landscaped grounds, offering a setting that works equally well for rustic-chic celebrations and more formal affairs. The Gazebo Ceremony Area sits directly on the lake, featuring high natural wood ceilings and scenic water views — with seating for more than 300 guests. For receptions, the 4,000-square-foot Pavilion is a fully enclosed, climate-controlled space with a chandelier over the dance floor, café lighting throughout, and a front patio with a firepit overlooking the lake. A dedicated catering prep room and restrooms are included within the Pavilion space. The on-site Event House sleeps up to 10 guests and includes a bridal suite, three bedrooms, a billiards room, and two sitting areas with fireplaces — making it possible to host a full weekend celebration without leaving the property.
