The Historic Adobe Building is a California Historical Landmark and National Register of Historic Places property located at 157 Moffett Boulevard in Mountain View, near the edge of downtown. Built in 1934 as a New Deal Civil Works Administration project, the structure features Spanish Revival architecture — terracotta clay tile roofing, thick adobe brick walls, decorative concrete columns, and wrought iron details that reflect early California building tradition. After a community preservation campaign, the building was restored to its 1935 appearance and reopened in 2001. The venue offers two complementary event spaces managed by the City of Mountain View's Recreation Department. The Great Room accommodates up to 100 guests for indoor dining and features exposed trusses, hand-hewn lumber, and a modern catering kitchen. MacArthur Park Restaurant and Bar occupies California Historical Landmark No. 895 at 27 University Avenue in Palo Alto — a building constructed during World War I as a Y.W.C.A. Hostess House, designed to serve as a safe meeting place for women and children visiting troops training at nearby Camp Fremont in Menlo Park. The structure has since been preserved as a landmark and transformed into a full-service American restaurant and event venue steps from the Caltrain station. The restaurant offers five private event spaces — the Veteran's Room (100 seated), the Julia Morgan Room (40 seated), Camp Fremont (30 seated), and an outdoor Patio (100 seated, 150 standing) — plus the option to buy out the full dining room for gatherings of up to 550. Events range from intimate board meetings and milestone dinners to wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, and corporate holiday parties. MacArthur Park's American menu draws on local and seasonal ingredients, with an award-winning BBQ program anchoring the kitchen. Our facilities provide a lovely and useful environment for a weekend wedding or anniversary party, as well as an off-site lunch and conference for your company. Our Los Gatos clubhouse is located at 123 Los Gatos Boulevard. A modest parking lot is accessible, and the building is surrounded by ample of street parking. The building is surrounded by beautiful grounds that are maintained by our volunteers. Tables and chairs are included in the rental price. Weddings and anniversary parties, corporate off-site meetings, and company conferences can all be held at the History Club of Los Gatos. Our quiet and beautifully maintained grounds, located in lovely downtown Los Gatos, provide a sanctuary of calm in our indoor and outdoor settings. Our interior's clean lines provide you with a blank canvas on which to create your own unique event. Our garden area is also ideal for weddings, parties, and family gatherings. Inside, we can easily handle gatherings for up to 150 people, with additional outside flexibility. We are an easy walk to restaurants and hotels in Los Gatos, making us ideal for smaller groups (20 to 50) looking for a pleasant, quiet area to work. To allow you to design your event, we have a raised stage with grand piano, spacious hall with hardwood floors, sound and projection equipment, dressing rooms, covered terrace, outside bar, beautifully planted garden, and gazebo. Rentals of Facilities The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District has a variety of venues available to rent for your next celebration or happy occasion. Each venue has its own own design components and aspects; make a reservation today and celebrate tomorrow. Minimonies at Ravenswood At Ravenswood Historic Site, we are introducing outdoor "minimonies" (mini-ceremonies). Exchange your vows in an outdoor environment with up to 50 guests while keeping all aspects of social distancing in mind. Choose from a romantic garden gazebo, a rustic covered tree patch, or the classic shaded tree archway for your ceremony. Included are the bride's room, tables, chairs, restrooms, parking, and a building attendant. Applicants have the option of hosting a small event with a champagne toast and individually prepared food. A minimum of four (4) hours is required; any additional hours will be charged at the hourly rental rate. Facility Event Rental Process at Ravenswood Applications are accepted eighteen (18) months in advance of the requested date, on a first-come, first served basis; preferred dates, times, and facility location vary. Applicants must submit a completed and signed Facility Rental Application, as well as a refundable deposit, to book and reserve the day. All other rental fees must be paid 45 days before the event date. If applicants want to rent with the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, they must understand and obey the Facility Rental Rules and Regulations. A facility, date, or requested times are not guaranteed or secured by submitting an application.

Sorensdale Recreation Center is a community event venue in Hayward, California, operated by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. Located at 275 Goodwin Street in a quiet cul-de-sac setting near Tennyson High School, the center underwent a full renovation in 2016 and now offers a modern, welcoming environment for private events. The main hall accommodates up to 130 guests and features 20-foot ceilings, large windows that fill the space with natural light, and a commercial kitchen equipped with stainless steel surfaces. A stage and on-site parking round out the facility's event amenities. Sorensdale Recreation Center is available for a wide range of private gatherings — weddings, receptions, auctions, theatrical performances, and community celebrations alike. Rental hours run Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday, 9 AM to 8 PM, with a three-hour minimum.
