    • Spaces for 50-100 Guests

Chai Pani is a Hindi phrase that translates as "tea with water." The phrase "a little something" refers to going out for a cup of tea, a nice nibble, a snack, or "a little something." It means inventive, exciting, inexpensive, and delectable Indian cuisine in Downtown Asheville (and now in Downtown Decatur, as well as other locations). Even the term "mindblasting" comes to mind when we think about it. Some of the greatest cuisine in any country can be found on the streets, and Chai Pani is home to chaat, which are crunchy, spicy, sweet, sour, and brilliantly colored Indian street snacks with a variety of flavors. For the simple reason that there is nothing more soothing and delectable in any culture than a home-cooked dinner, Chai Pani also offers thalis, which are traditional Indian family meals that showcase the country's incredible culinary diversity. The New York Times praised our "fresh, cilantro-strewn twists on Indian street cuisine," GQ Magazine praised our "Indian street food with a twang," and New York Magazine hailed us as "a star in downtown's eating scene." We also received positive reviews from other publications. According to the Huffington Post, we were one of the "Top 10 Cheap Eats in the United States," and even Fox News referred to us as "the hit of their Asheville trip." (We're simply relieved that we were able to get them all to agree on anything)! So, now that we've made it all the way from Bombay to Buncombe, let's get out on the sidewalk and into the street — Indian Street Food, to be precise. (I couldn't help myself!) From Bombay to Buncombe, and from Asheville to Atlanta, Chai Pani has brought our passion for food, culinary experience, and storytelling to the Southeastern United States and Canada. The day we opened the doors of CHAI PANI ASHEVILLE in 2009 was a monument to our determination, love, and friendship with one another. By midday, we had run out of food. Whatever happened after that is history...

    The Biltmore Ballrooms

817 W Peachtree St NW #208, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA
    • Spaces for 1,500 Guests

The Biltmore Hotel, which opened its doors in 1924 and served as the center of Atlanta's business and social life for over sixty years. This magnificent landmark was created by the architecture company Shultze and Weaver, which is also responsible for such iconic hotels as The Breakers in Palm Beach, the Waldorf-Astoria in New York, The Pierre, and The Sherry Netherland in Amsterdam. It was formerly referred to as "The South's Supreme Hotel," but the Biltmore was forced to lock its doors in 1982 after a change in ownership and several years of continuous deterioration. When The Biltmore underwent a complete makeover in 1999, it was the result of sixteen years of neglect and abandonment. The result was a combination of Class A office space and retail space, as well as a unique event area. The reconstruction of the Georgian and Imperial Ballrooms, which are now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, allowed The Biltmore to swiftly reclaim its position as one of Atlanta's social and commercial hotspots. The Biltmore Ballrooms, with their original handmade plaster relief ceilings, restored crystal chandeliers, Palladian windows, and Tennessee marble flooring, provide a stunningly breathtaking setting for weddings, business parties, and any other social celebration held in the historic mansion.

    Miller Union

999 Brady Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA
    • Spaces for 40-60 Guests
    • 1 Restaurant

Miller Union is named after the former Miller Union Stockyards that occupied one full city block in Atlanta’s old meatpacking district in the 1880s. The stockyard building suffered a fire after the turn of the century and was later replaced with an industrial warehouse, typical of the time period. Miller Union, the restaurant, was founded in 2009 by Steven Satterfield and Neal McCarthy in the refurbished warehouse that sits on the former site and has since contributed to the evolution of the neighborhood. They created a rustic, yet modern atmosphere with a respect for the history of the neighborhood, and an anchor for the emerging one. Miller Union has since become an Atlanta mainstay. Satterfield cooks in an organic way by reacting to the ever-changing harvest of the seasons. The restaurant embodies an authentic approach to farmstead-inspired cooking, in which ingredients drive the menu. Satterfield’s style is simple, but creative and refined, with a lean on Southern history. McCarthy’s acclaimed wine program complements the style of Satterfield’s cooking with a dynamic wine list that focuses on small producers with sustainable farming practices.

Located in Decatur, Georgia, The White Bull draws its culinary inspiration from the surrounding local market. Defined by the ingredients available rather than by a specific cuisine, our daily menu directly reflects what’s being seasonally, regionally, and sustainably grown across the state. Chef Pat Pascarella's farm-forward Italian restaurant, The White Bull, is located in downtown Decatur. The White Bull, a restaurant in Decatur, Georgia, gets its culinary inspiration from the nearby local market, where it is located. Even while our small-plate menu is a departure from the traditional Italian farm-to-table fare, it ultimately represents the foods that are farmed locally, regionally, and responsibly across our lovely state. In order to promote natural eating, cooking, and growing techniques, we are delighted to collaborate with an extraordinary network of farmers and purveyors who are all committed to our purpose. The White Bull offers house-milled grains, farm-fresh veggies, and grass-fed meats at the tables in our bright and dynamic room, thanks to their hard work and commitment. It was Ernest Hemingway who coined the phrase "The White Bull" to describe a blank sheet of paper, since it both scared and provoked an intense sense of excitement in the great American author. This is our own blank page, a fantastic opportunity to express ourselves, our passion, and our craft right here in the heart of Atlanta's art district.
