The property operates as a full-buyout weekend destination, offering private use of the entire grounds from Friday noon through Sunday noon — a model that lets wedding parties and retreat groups settle in, rather than rush through. The newly renovated Carriage House Event Space anchors the property's celebrations, accommodating up to 220 guests indoors and 300 for outdoor tented ceremonies. Overnight accommodations for up to 50 guests span five mansion rooms and suites, six cottage houses, three bunkhouse cabins, two mountain view cabins, and two luxury carriage house apartments — keeping the entire wedding party together under one roof. Richwood handles day-of logistics through a dedicated Event Specialist and assistant, provides a full suite of furnishings (Chiavari chairs, farm tables, linens), and works with a roster of exclusive caterers. Couples may supply their own alcohol with a licensed bartender. The venue draws clients from the Louisville, Cincinnati, Lexington, and Indianapolis regions.
