Our Blueberry and Peach Farms are tucked away in the rural community of Mims, which is situated in the heart of Florida's farming region. We are only about half an hour away from the central business districts of Orlando, Daytona Beach, Deltona, Melbourne, and Palm Bay. Our South Florida Horse Ranch is located in Indiantown, which is a short drive from both Port St. Lucie and West Palm Beach. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the museum preserves more than 50 historic military aircraft spanning from early aviation through the modern era — an expansive collection that serves as the backdrop for the museum's event arm, Venue On The Horizon. The event center draws on that distinctive setting to host weddings, corporate gatherings, military reunions, galas, and civic events. To fast forward to the present day, my heart is brimming with joy as I reflect on the numerous weddings that we have been privileged to celebrate here over the years. The privilege of seeing couples take their relationships to the next level by exchanging their vows beneath the same ancient and massive oak tree that served as the setting for my daughter's wedding is wonderful in and of itself. But even many years after our couples have said their goodbyes and rode off into the sunset, one of my favorite things to do is watch them react to the arrival of their first child as a family. The joy and satisfaction people feel when they make significant life changes, such as buying their first house, changing careers, or getting a promotion! And most importantly, it brings me a great deal of joy to know that everything started right here and I get a lot of satisfaction from watching them enjoy their anniversaries year after year. The Rocking L Ranch is a country-style, shabby-chic event venue that has farm tables, mixed-and-matched old chairs, and a variety of other vintage furnishings and decorations.
