WedEscapes provides couples who want to get married but either do not have the financial means or do not have the desire for an extravagant or large wedding and reception with the option to purchase elegant micro wedding and elopement packages at private wedding and event venues. No more than 23 guests are permitted to attend each of our intimate micro weddings. The majority of the events will take place outside at privately owned vacation homes, beaches, parks, or in outdoor country settings. These locations are all managed by our premier partner, TGI Property Management & Consulting, LLC, who oversees a portfolio of vacation rentals across the state of South Carolina, including Charleston, Columbia, and Greenwood. WedEscapes is a one-stop shop for everything having to do with weddings, from the planning stages all the way through the big day. Our primary focus is on the planning and execution of elopements and smaller wedding ceremonies. The thing that makes us stand out from the competition is that we are able to perform a number of micro weddings in a single day at the same location by allocating between two and three hour blocks of time for each ceremony, depending on the services that are chosen. Dunes West is undoubtedly one of the South's best clubs, and the perfect backdrop for any occasion or celebration, from the avenue of arching live oaks that leads to the antebellum-style clubhouse to the breathtaking water vistas to the gracious yet thorough service. It's no surprise that Dunes West is a recurrent choice among brides, given to its incomparable beauty and experienced event crew, which includes a team of culinary artists who provide some of the greatest cuisine in the area. The Food and Beverage Director will assist in the planning of all functions, including food and beverage arrangements, facility set up, and event timeline, to ensure that all elements are confirmed and agreed upon in advance. Tables, chairs, flatware, china, glasses, and linens will be provided as available and depending on the nature of the event at Dunes West Golf and River Club. The cost of any additional products that the club needs to hire will be added to the final total. The employees of Dunes West Golf and River Club will set up tables, chairs, and linens, but will not be responsible for decorations, props, or flowers. Candles, props, decorations, and other special objects should be brought in the day before or the morning of the celebration. Any objects not belonging to The Club that are left behind should be picked up the morning after the function. The Club is not responsible for any objects that are not removed promptly after an event. The guest is responsible for all floral arrangements, musical arrangements, cakes, and photographs. Vendors who have previously worked with Dunes West Golf and River Club can be recommended by the Food and Beverage Director. The room will usually be ready to decorate by 7 a.m. for a morning event, 9 a.m. for a lunch event, and 3 p.m. for an evening event. Vendor deliveries should be coordinated with the Director of Food & Beverage. The facility is open to both members and non-members of Dunes West Golf and River Club. All events require a $500 deposit or 50% of the room cost, whichever is lower, which will be deducted from the final payment. There are no refunds on any deposits. Before a deposit is received, no date will be reserved.

A 20-acre community development along the storied Ashley River, The Bend represents a fresh way of thinking about how we live and form connections. The Bend's history began with a series of land grants given out by Lord Proprietors in the 1600s. The area along the historic Ashley River's bend has gone by a number of names over the past nearly 300 years, including Stock Prior, Quarter House, Accabee Plantation, Ryedale, Anna Brae, Malona, and most recently Ashley Shores, a privately owned community. The Pearlstine Company submitted a bid on the property in 2015 with the intention of renovating it. The Bend pays homage to the Ashley River's wide bend as well as the changing character of Charleston. The Bend underwent a multi-year change under the direction of Susan Pearlstine, a native of Charleston who is also an entrepreneur, business owner, philanthropist, environmentalist, community activist, and developer. Even now, the Bend is still changing. Givhans Ferry State Park is a 988-acre lowcountry retreat set along the Edisto River, the longest free-flowing blackwater river in North America. The park sits at the end of a 23-mile paddling trail that begins at Colleton State Park, making it a natural gathering point for river-based outings and quiet celebrations alike. Four two-bedroom cabins, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, sit on a bluff overlooking the river, alongside the CCC-built River House welcome center with its wide back porch looking out over the water. The park's limestone river bluff and sinkholes, some six to eight feet deep, are among its distinguishing natural features. For groups, two picnic shelters are available to reserve, and a 1.5-mile River Bluff Nature Trail winds through the surrounding woods. Wireless internet is available at the park office, and kayaking, tubing, and fishing on the Edisto are among the park's signature outdoor activities.

The restaurant provides customers with a friendly and interesting dining experience by serving an excellent but approachable menu. Executive Chef Bob Cook's menu includes bar appetizers, house-made charcuterie, small dishes, heartier meals, and modernized versions of classic desserts. The food is genuine and unpretentious, resulting in an unforgettable dining experience inspired by the beverages on the menu. The Library is a secluded, intimate rectangular area located near the main dining room's kitchen. It can easily seat 32 people and can hold up to 45 people standing. The Library includes a wall of windows with velvet curtains that may be drawn to provide as much or as little seclusion as desired. The Library is the only event area with a television screen and audiovisual capabilities, making it perfect for business meetings. Private dinners, happy hours, bridal/baby showers, lectures, wine/beer tastings, and more can all be held in this area. This open timber-framed structure is the perfect setting for a wide range of events and celebrations. For seated dinners of up to 100 persons, long wooden community tables are available. The space is also great for parties and activities that can spill over onto the courtyard. Up to 200 persons can stand throughout the full space. The Bower is an extremely versatile venue that can accommodate events ranging from a corporate happy hour to a 100-person seated dinner to a frenetic dance floor. For hot days, there are fans, and for winter evenings, there are industrial ceiling heaters. Optional screens are available on both sides of The Bower for seclusion and intimacy. A full walkup bar is included in the Bower. When you rent out the entire restaurant, you get all of the rooms. It provides for a decent cocktail hour outside before guests arrive for dinner for rehearsal dinners. It also allows up to 300 people to enjoy live music, order beverages from either bar, watch the sun set in the courtyard, or visit the Library room's bourbon bar. There is plenty of parking on-site.

On our lovely patio and within the restaurant, Lewis Barbecue offers full service private gatherings. John Lewis, the founder and maestro of BBQ, grew up in El Paso, Texas, and came to Austin at the age of 18 to begin his culinary career. John's parents got him a New Braunfels smoker for his birthday around this time, and he began dabbling in Austin's long-standing backyard BBQ culture. He immediately began to experiment with the design and construction of both his smokers and his meats in order to achieve a better result. After spending time in Denver developing his skills on the competition barbecue circuit, John returned to Austin to assist his buddy Aaron Franklin with the opening of Franklin Barbecue, and then joined with LeAnn Mueller to open the much-loved La Barbecue. John went to the Holy City in March 2015 with his smokers to introduce the Lowcountry to the amazing world of Texas BBQ. Lewis Barbecue, which he and his team established in June 2016, has been acclaimed as one of the greatest in the country by publications such as Southern Living, Conde Nast Traveler, Garden & Gun, and others for its famed brisket, honky tonk music, and laid-back attitude. You're still in luck if you can't make it to the physical location. All of John's smoked meats are shipped across the United States via our online store. Rancho Lewis, John's second design, will open in Charleston in 2022. Rancho Lewis embodies the spirit of West Texas, an area rich in varied cultures, and was inspired by his youth growing up in the Southwest Texas-El Paso region. We will work with all event planners, vendors, and caterers in the Charleston area to meet your needs. We introduced The Ashley to West Ashley to address a vacuum in the Charleston area for inexpensive venues and event spaces. Rates are reasonable and available upon request; however, rates are not quoted because they are subject to change depending on the date, weekday, hour of the event, and time of year. If The Ashley is a good fit for your organization, we'll try to come up with a rate that works for your occasion. The Ashley is willing to work with you to make your event more reasonable. Charleston event space has gotten pricey, and The Ashley is eager to work with you to make your event happen at a reasonable price. We offer a daily changing menu of local ingredients - the same for both lunch & dinner - which consists of 2 appetizers, 2 entreés & 2 desserts.

Harborside East is a waterfront venue located on Patriot's Point in Charleston and is considered to be the best in the city. With its breathtaking views of the Charleston skyline and harbor, it's an excellent choice for couples who want an elegant wedding with an outdoor ceremony on the water at the Charleston Harbor Hotel. Inside, the contemporary building boasts marble accents, sophisticated lighting, and panoramic views of the Ravenel Bridge, which is a landmark in the city. With four waterfront ceremony locations and a banquet facility with ample space for dancing, cocktails, and conversation, Harborside can accommodate weddings of all sizes. Your guests will be able to enjoy drinks while taking in the views of the harbor from the stainless steel indoor and outdoor bars. The banquet hall is made more spacious by the use of floor-to-ceiling glass windows. After 11 p.m., all amplified music must be turned off in public places. After 9 p.m., all outdoor amplified music must be turned off. If necessary, we can close off a portion of our patio with exterior flaps that can be lowered from the outside. It is necessary to have a LICENSED day of event coordinator. Neither a member of the wedding party nor a guest at the wedding may be this individual. A month before the event, they must provide a copy of their driver's license and meet with the venue manager to sign our coordinator agreement. Requests for recommendations for coordinators will be gladly accommodated by the venue. The host is required to provide Harborside with a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $500,000 (minimum), with Harborside East named as an additional insured party on the policy.
