Our family has been taming the untamed regions of Texas for for 200 years in Houston and the neighboring areas. We excelled in the local cattle markets during the peak of the cowboy era in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and places like Sealy and Willis were named after our pioneering family. The mansion in Galveston was built by our great-great-grandmother (now known as the Moody mansion). Then her daughter, our great grandmother, traveled to Montgomery to marry the man she loved, Stump Martin, a cowboy. They erected “The Big House,” a gorgeous estate with a Grand Hall to welcome guests and dignitaries from all around the world. Many things have changed in the last century, but our roots in Montgomery, Texas, remain strong. We designed the Grand Hall to celebrate our proud Texas heritage by evoking the grandeur of a bygone era. Over 20 vintage chandeliers, reclaimed shiplap, ornamental tin, and a stone fireplace evoke old world elegance while while bringing a touch of current Texas spirit to the space.

Seven Coves Clubhouse sits directly on the shore of Lake Conroe, surrounded by large oak trees, in the lakeside community of Seven Coves near Willis, Texas. The newly renovated clubhouse pairs an open, chandelier-lit reception hall with a wall of windows overlooking the water, giving weddings and receptions a lake view backdrop from the ceremony to the dance floor. The space accommodates up to 150 guests and comes set up with ten 72-inch round tables and two 8-foot rectangular tables, along with a dance floor, a full-service kitchen, a bridal suite, and a flat-screen TV. A spacious deck and gazebo extend the clubhouse onto the water's edge, giving evening events an illuminated outdoor gathering spot alongside the indoor hall. Complimentary WiFi and a non-smoking policy round out the space's amenities. Rental options range from hourly bookings to full-day rentals running from 8 a.m. to midnight, making the clubhouse workable for everything from an afternoon shower to a full wedding day.

We will offer you with our Preferred Vendor list, which includes loads of wonderful, tried and true providers, to assist you in planning your big day! Bernhardt Winery, perched atop a ridge with views of rolling hills and valleys, takes pleasure in providing guests with a pleasant Houston Hill Country experience. The winery, vineyard, and event grounds are located on a 20-acre estate just northwest of Houston, in a picturesque setting. Bernhardt Winery is committed to providing high-quality wines as well as a pleasant tasting experience in a welcoming atmosphere. Live music, artisan vendor fairs, and private events are among the winery's unique events. Celebrate at Bernhardt Winery: Holiday Parties, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, Anniversary and other excuses to party! We have a lovely indoor/outdoor location with twenty acres of planted vineyards and century-old native Pecan trees where you can host your event. The new Soleil Room, with its adjacent courtyard, is ideal for a small celebration with family and friends, accommodating up to 48 people. During regular tasting room hours and after-hours events, room rental fees are available. We offer options to bring in your own food or have us design a customized menu for your event! The wedding ceremony can also be conducted inside in our Main Events Room overlooking lush green lawns or in the winery surrounded by barrels and wine tanks decorated with flowers and plants creating a very unique setting. The 106-acre Double Bar B Guest Ranch has rustic ambience, lakefront views, and plenty of photo opportunities. This southwestern site in Plantersville, Texas, is surrounded by acres of forested woodland and is ideal for those looking for a country wedding. The Double Bar B Guest Ranch features a large reception hall as well as three deluxe guest cabins for your wedding guests. The three guest cabins can accommodate up to 26 people and have beautiful Southwest decor, television, Wifi, and access to the large swimming pool with views of the lake. Your guests will enjoy fishing, mountain biking on the wooded pathways, or simply relaxing in the classic large rockers that overlook the nature. The Ranch Hall is a great indoor venue for a reception.
