With a stunning view of a 40-acre lake and pine forests, The Peach Barn offers over 5,700 square feet of event space in their barn for up to 400 wedding guests. Fans, a beautiful chandelier, a bar, and two floors of event space with a wrap-around balcony can be found in the all-wood barn. The ceilings are coated in salvaged tin and the walls are composed of ancient doors from a 1920s hotel, giving a rustic and relaxing ambiance. The barn also has 14-foot-wide barn doors, a large screened-in porch, and an upper deck with a view of Lake Garvey. Outdoor ceremonies can be held on a large lawn with gorgeous pines as a backdrop. Weddings and other social events can be held at the Peach Barn at TimberMill Acres. Their event planners will assist you in planning and coordinating a seamless and unforgettable wedding celebration that is tailored to your individual needs. This location also has a huge domestic kitchen and bar area where you may serve food and drinks to your wedding guests. The Peach Barn has two upstairs bedrooms with five queen-sized beds and two complete baths for overnight guests. The Peach Barn at TimberMill Acres is a great place to host small and large private parties. This venue can host all of your wedding festivities, including engagement parties, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinners, in addition to wedding ceremonies and receptions. Sundown Farms Plantation is a wedding and event destination set on 13 professionally landscaped acres in Moultrie, Georgia, in the heart of south Georgia's plantation belt. Established in 2009 when the Alderman family opened the estate to the public, the property sits 50 miles north of Tallahassee and combines a working quail hunting plantation with an event venue capable of hosting weddings, reunions, and private gatherings. The grounds center on a 7,000-square-foot lodge constructed in 2008, surrounded by a courtyard, a wedding chapel, and a pond that serves as a backdrop for ceremonies. The dining hall accommodates over 100 guests for seated meals, while the courtyard offers an open-air setting for receptions and rehearsal dinners. The historic Murphy House — built in 1914 and moved to the property and restored in 2008 — provides overnight accommodations for wedding parties. Wedding packages include exclusive use of the lodge, chapel, and grounds for the event day and the Friday prior, with tables and chairs provided. Couples are welcome to bring their own licensed and insured vendors, with a recommended vendor list available on request.
