In the heart of Frederick, Maryland, Dulanys Overlook is a working crop farm with 170 acres of land. In addition, it is a short drive away from the Baltimore, Washington, and Virginia metropolitan areas. The property is perched high on a hill with expansive views of the surrounding countryside. The wedding party and family will be staying in a historic brick house on the day of the wedding, which includes a beautiful brides room as well as a game room/man cave. On the day of the wedding, the couple will have exclusive use of the entire property for 12 hours. The farm has a historic barn that has been restored and is equipped with modern restrooms and catering space for individual events. It has the capacity to accommodate up to 200 guests while still providing enough space for dancing. It is possible to bring in your own vendors if you have a favorite caterer that you'd like to use, as we have a list of vendors that we recommend for all of the services you will need for your wedding. Because we are a family-run business, we all have the distinct advantage of being able to make our homes here on the premises. At Circle D Farm, we take care of the details that are promptly addressed, although at commercial facilities or larger operations, they are sometimes overlooked. Cattail Creek Country Club is a member-owned, family-friendly country club set on 168 acres in Glenwood, Maryland, within an hour of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Founded in 1988 by 46 Howard County golf enthusiasts, the club opened its championship 18-hole course in 1993 — designed by Willard Byrd, who planned more than 100 courses — and has grown into a full-service facility well suited for weddings, corporate gatherings, and milestone celebrations.
