In Athens, Texas, The Texan is a wedding venue. This old cinema theater has been restored to hold modern events while retaining some of its original architectural features. As two families become one, what formerly provided entertainment for folks in the 1950s can now host 21st-century celebrations. This structure has a total floor area of 5,00 square feet, with a 1,200 square foot mezzanine. This large space may be set up in a variety of ways to accommodate both small and lavish ceremonies, banquets, and receptions. The main hall features 100-year-old stone walls, towering ceilings, and a floor-to-ceiling glass pane that lets natural light in. A mezzanine on the second floor can be used for additional seats or dramatic entrances. This facility can seat 186-411 persons depending on the style of your event. When you book your special event at The Texan, their friendly staff will help you set up all of your rental equipment and decorations. 20 round, 15 rectangle, and 13 cocktail tables, 350 banquet chairs, three mobile bars, and a high-quality projection screen are included in the site's rental package. The building's personnel may also clean up after your event for added convenience. You are welcome to collaborate with outside providers to make this location into the wedding setting of your dreams.
