a little about us Rustic Chic Covered Outdoor Venue Buck Creek Hall is a 5,200 square foot covered open air event facility with a capacity of 250 people seated (400 standing). With views of a hundred acres, this venue has a unique rustic chic décor. Banquet tables and chairs for up to 250 guests, a Bride's Room with heat and air conditioning, a Groom's Room with pool table and darts, six built-in gas heaters, a fire pit area, a small pond with a pier, a 10 x 20 elevated stage with backlit windows, customizable lighting, and a dance floor. House music and a well-lit parking lot are included. Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine while remaining sheltered from the elements with this venue. We have three large fans and two large Porta Cools to keep it cool, as well as side curtains and six built in heaters to help keep it warm. Views across a hundred-acre pasture are breathtaking. I

Union Springs is an East Texas wedding and event location. It is situated on 33 acres of land surrounded by magnificent woodlands. It gives the appearance of a rustic western horse barn, yet it also features modern facilities for brides. The barn is 5000 square feet and can comfortably seat 250 people. There are two covered porches with seating for another 65 people. A bride's dressing room with her own restroom and vanity space is available in the barn. There is also a separate dressing room for the groom. The unusual Dutch doors on the front of the barn provide a separate entrance for each dressing room. A catering kitchen is located adjacent to the buffet area. Your caterer can utilize the commercial refrigerator, warming cabinet, ice machine, and prep tables in the kitchen. The kitchen has a separate entrance for ease access. There are numerous special elements that make this venue unique for your event. Make an appointment to visit the facility and take a tour. For the past six years, I've wanted to find a location where I could plan and host weddings. I was raised in a preaching family and have been to more weddings than I can remember! Weddings are my favorite! It's one of the most memorable days in a young lady's life. Since she was a tiny girl, she has fantasized about, dreamed about, and planned for this moment. I wanted to create a space where a bride might realize her aspirations. That goal, I believe, has been met. The barn is rustic enough on the outside to have that Texas charm, yet it is finished on the inside to meet any wedding style. It is up to the bride to dress it up or leave it as is. I want to provide as much assistance to the brides as possible so that they can remember this time as one of pleasure, excitement, and joy with as little worry as possible. I've tried to add some unique touches to the barn that will make your special day even more memorable. One of my dreams has come true now that I have this venue. Cassels-Boykin County Park sits in the mid-lake area of Lake Sam Rayburn in Angelina County, Texas, about 35 minutes from Lufkin. The park is known as one of the best spots in Texas for largemouth bass fishing, with flooded timber, lily pads, and channels drawing anglers to prime areas like the Black Forest, Canyons, and Atoyac River. At the heart of the park is the Bill and Emily Shelton Pavilion, a 100-foot-diameter facility with rustic rock and log architecture overlooking the lake. Built to accommodate bass tournaments, the pavilion doubles as a venue for weddings, reunions, and parties, seating up to 400 guests. It includes modern restroom facilities and a bridal party dressing room, and the pavilion has previously hosted BASS Elite Series and FLW Tour events. The park also offers 16 campsites with water, sewer, and electrical hookups, WiFi access, a handicap-accessible fishing pier, and a 6.9-mile mountain bike trail, making it a destination for both event guests and outdoor recreation.
