Woodbine Cottage is a historic 5,000-square-foot Victorian mansion in the heart of downtown Newport, Rhode Island. Built in 1873, it was originally the private residence of George Champlin Mason, Newport's first resident architect, who trained in Switzerland, France, and Germany before going on to design roughly 150 Gilded Age mansions throughout the city. The 23-room house has been restored and retains its period character, with each guest room individually appointed to reflect the home's history.
