Up to 160 people can be seated in the Garden. "Flexibility" is a quality that we are delighted to provide. We understand how important it is for you to have the perfect event and how much planning goes into it. Your function will not be held to a strict timetable at the Century House and Gardens. We recognize and appreciate that a special occasion does not always go as planned, and we are delighted to accommodate you by allowing you to come in earlier to set up or have more reasonable time for your guests to leave at the end. We provide a variety of meals and packages to guarantee that every aspect of your event is memorable. We attempt to meet all of our clients' wants by offering chefs who specialize in ethnic meals from all over the globe. Catering is available in Italian, Mexican, Indian, Afghani, and Pakistani cuisines. Our management staff has the knowledge and experience to assist you in planning and managing your unique budget requirements so that your special event is everything you want it to be. Please note that the Century House and Gardens welcomes outside catering as part of our effort to be flexible with your needs; however, if you prefer our in-house cuisine, we will subtract 50% off the facility rental charge (some exceptions may apply). Massimo's Italian Restaurant has served Fremont, California since 1976, when William Massimo Rinetti founded the restaurant to honor his grandfather — an Italian immigrant whose name and culinary spirit the restaurant carries forward. Now operated by Bill Jr., who has managed daily operations since the 1990s, Massimo's remains a family business rooted in three generations of Italian-American tradition. The restaurant's five private dining rooms accommodate gatherings from intimate dinners of 15 to banquet receptions of up to 180 guests. Each room offers a fully private setting with its own audiovisual capabilities, and the largest space — the Hyman Room — features a dedicated exterior entrance, private restrooms, a portable dance floor, and an iPod-compatible sound system. Rooms can be combined to expand capacity for larger celebrations.
