  • Jacksonport State Park

205 Avenue St, Newport, AR 72112, USA
    • Spaces for 75 Guests

Jacksonport State Park sits at the confluence of the White and Black rivers just three miles north of Newport, Arkansas. The park preserves a significant chapter of Arkansas history — in the 1800s, Jacksonport was a thriving steamboat river port, and during the Civil War both Confederate and Union forces occupied the town due to its strategic location. Today, an 1872 courthouse stands restored on the grounds as a museum, and the Tunstall Riverwalk trail offers a half-mile path along the river's edge. The park offers several rentable event spaces for private gatherings, including a Visitor Center Meeting Room, a historic Courtroom, a covered pavilion, and a gazebo. Events are supported by the park's scenic riverside setting, picnic areas, and accessible facilities. The park's events team can be reached directly to discuss availability and event logistics.
