49 Franklin Reception Hall & Mystic Theater occupies a restored Methodist church on Franklin Street in Rumford, Maine, renovated by owners Scot and Cindy Grassette and opened for events in 2010. The building's original character — cathedral ceilings, stained glass windows, and open architecture — is preserved throughout. The venue operates two distinct event spaces: the Reception Hall on the first level, suited for receptions and private gatherings, and the Mystic Theater on the upper level, which doubles as an intimate performance and event space. Both levels are ADA accessible. In-house catering is provided through Grapevine Catering, with flexible buffet menus and a minimum of 30 guests.
