A Remarkable Achievement in the World of Theater Restored to its Stunning Original Flourishing State. In 1927, when vaudeville circuit palaces were at the height of their evolution, the Citizens Bank Opera House was one of the best examples of this type of venue that could be found everywhere. Theatrical productions from all across the world can be seen here, many of which have won prestigious awards. Since it was brought back to its former glory, the Opera House has been the source of unforgettable moments for each and every one of our visitors. The entire theater, the stage, or any one of our many beautiful event spaces are available for booking for parties ranging in size from 20 to 2,600 people. When it initially opened its doors in 1928, the Boston Opera House was known as the B.F. Keith Memorial Theater. Thomas White Lamb, who was considered to be one of the most accomplished theater architects of his era, was responsible for the luxurious movie theater's architecture, which was a fusion of the French and Italian styles. Late in 2004, following a number of transitions in ownership, the Boston Opera House underwent an extensive period of restoration and renovation in order to meet the requirements of large Broadway touring plays. The theater has a capacity of 2600 people, and in addition to hosting regular performances by the Boston Ballet and Broadway productions, it is also open for pre-show use and private functions. The Claudette restaurant is named after Claudette Sammut, the 91 year-old mother of Guy Sammut, who with his wife Reine own two beautiful restaurants and a small hotel in Loumarin. Carlos stumbled upon the property on a sunny October afternoon and was so inspired by the beautiful setting, Reine’s food, Guy’s incredible warmth, and the Sammut family’s story, that he asked Guy – before dessert was even served – if they could name the restaurant after his mother. Luckily, he said yes. Claudette is available for private dining & large-party events such as cocktail receptions, dinners, wedding receptions and more.

The Community Sailing Center is a community-based nonprofit organization providing access, education, and recreation on Lake Champlain for almost 8,000 people annually. The new Community Waterfront Center is a vital hub on the shores of the lake where community members and visitors to Burlington gather to play and learn on the lake together. We engage our community with the lake through a wide range of educational and recreational programs that extend an open invitation to everyone regardless of age, gender, race, physical ability, or the means to pay. Our Signature Programs are specially designed for students, at-risk youth, women and girls, and individuals with disabilities, enabling underserved populations to access and take ownership of Lake Champlain.
