For your convenience, North Shore Beach Clubhouse has a separate Banquet & Buffet room to serve your guests. They have a full service kitchen where you can warm food up before serving. Agawam Hunt is a private country club set on 130 wooded, riverside acres in Rumford, Rhode Island, just across the water from Providence's East Side. Founded in 1897 as a fox hunting organization, the club traces its roots to the Providence County Hunt of the 1870s and has occupied its current clubhouse site, a former farmhouse, since that era. In 2018, New Agawam, LLC acquired the property and partnered with The Nature Conservancy to permanently protect eleven of the club's interior golf course holes from development. The clubhouse offers formal and casual indoor spaces alongside outdoor venues on the property's rolling lawns and gardens, suited to weddings, showers, milestone celebrations, and corporate gatherings across the seasons. Catering draws on locally sourced ingredients from regional farms, dairies, and coastal waters, with an in-house pastry chef preparing custom cakes and gluten-free options. Modular lounge furniture, white Chiavari chairs, adjustable LED uplighting, pipe and drape configurations, a large LED-lit bar, and food display stations can be arranged to suit events from intimate gatherings to parties of up to 225 guests. The venue is operated alongside Barry Catering, which has provided customized menus throughout South Jersey and the Philadelphia metropolitan area for nearly three decades.
