The Palace Theater is a National Historic Landmark performing arts venue in downtown Waterbury, Connecticut, built in 1921 to a Second Renaissance Revival design by architect Thomas W. Lamb. Following a $30 million restoration, the theater reopened in 2004, restoring its marbleized staircases, gilded domed ceilings, cut glass chandeliers, and intricate plaster relief details to their original grandeur. Quassy Amusement & Waterpark sits on the south shore of Lake Quassapaug in Middlebury, Connecticut, and has welcomed guests since 1908 — one of only eleven trolley parks still operating in the United States.
