VISION The vision for The Norwood was to restore the glory of being a place for entertainment and celebration of life’s best moments - Originally a Theatre from 1915 to 1949, The Norwood is now Detroit’s newest Industrial Event Venue & Downstairs Bar Lounge (Intermission) with 7,000 square ft and 3 floors. HISTORY In 1915, the architectural firm William S. Jay & Co. designed & opened The Norwood Theatre. It was then demolished in the summer of 1941 to allow for road widening. A new Norwood Theatre was built on the site designed in an Art Deco style, but eventually closed in 1949….

The Ford Avenue Piquette Plant was built in 1904 by the fledgling Ford Motor Company. It was here that Henry Ford would produce several car models- including his most famous automobile- the Model T. Once outside the plant's walls, the Model T started a revolution that would put the world on wheels. OUR ORGANIZATION The Model-T Automotive Heritage Complex, Inc., (doing business as) the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, was organized in 2000 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for the purpose of preserving the Plant and keeping it from being demolished. Open year round as a Museum and education center, the plant now attracts visitors from around the world. It provides special programs and events for bus tours, families, and scores of people attending public and private events from car shows to weddings. The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant (FPAP) is managed by a Board of Trustees and volunteer committees. The historic site is financially self-supported. It is not affiliated with Ford Motor Company or Ford Foundation.

Willis Show Bar, in Detroit’s Historic Cass Corridor, is an live entertainment venue and classic cocktail bar. It has been revived from its 1949 “Show Bar” era when it was a hot spot jazz club until it closed its doors in 1978. The legendary bar lives again in its original Art Moderne style with a floorplan that captures the attention of every seat in the house. The very unique main stage is still behind the bar and features amazing live music and sometimes cabaret performers, deejays and comedians.

St. John's Banquet & Conference Center sits on a campus along Northwestern Highway in Southfield, Michigan, that has served the Armenian community for more than 75 years. The building's architecture was shaped by a team that traveled to Armenia to study classical church design; the main structure was dedicated in 1966, and the event spaces underwent a complete renovation in September 2022. The centerpiece is the Grand Ballroom, which seats up to 550 guests and features expansive palladium windows, a coffered hexagonal ceiling with remote color-tunable lighting, and a professional stage — an arrangement that accommodates everything from black-tie galas and wedding receptions to corporate banquets and award ceremonies. Veterans Hall seats up to 200 and offers natural window light with direct access to an outdoor patio, making it a flexible setting for reunions, graduations, and holiday parties.
