    The Charmant Hotel is a 67-room boutique hotel in downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin, set on the site of the city's first settlement, a log cabin built by fur trader Nathan Myrick in 1842. The building itself dates to 1898, when it was constructed for the FUNKE Candy Factory; the hotel takes its name from Charmant, FUNKE's premium chocolate line, and pays homage to that history throughout, with original maple wood flooring, wood beams, and exposed brick preserved and reimagined across the historic landmark structure.
