Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club is a private, member-owned coastal community set on a barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon in Vero Beach, Florida. The club occupies a rare oceanfront position that puts an Arnold Palmer-designed, Audubon-certified championship golf course within a short walk or cart ride of more than a mile of private white sand beach. The Beach Club, built in British West Indies-inspired architecture, overlooks the Atlantic and serves as a social hub for dining and gathering. Multiple dining venues — including the Pool Grille and Turtle Bar, the Seaside Lounge, and a Dining Terrace — provide settings for casual meals and private celebrations. The club also hosts weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and private parties in these oceanfront surroundings. Beyond golf and beach access, the property includes a Kayak Cove connecting to the Indian River Lagoon, a 2.2-acre Sports Complex with pickleball, bocce, croquet, and basketball, plus a spa and full fitness center. The club is a Distinguished Club honoree and a Florida Communities of Excellence recipient, with staff tenure measured in decades.

Capt Hiram's Resort is a waterfront resort on the Indian River in Sebastian, Florida, named after Sergeant Hiram Collins, a World War II soldier who gave his life at Normandy Beach. The resort captures what it describes as "the essence of Florida, enhanced with a Bahamian beat" — an island-inspired property where guests arrive by land or sea, steps from the Sebastian Inlet. The resort's event spaces range from intimate indoor rooms to open-air waterfront settings, accommodating gatherings of 35 to 150 guests. The Tiffany Room, a 2,800-square-foot hall above Blackfin's Riverfront Grill, seats up to 150 and offers river views alongside a private bar, dance floor, and dedicated restrooms. Outdoors, Bimini Beach places guests directly on the sand with a Bahamian-inspired backdrop, while The Cove provides a breezy open-air waterfront setting for up to 100 guests. Smaller groups can reserve Scoops Bar, the Ramp Lounge, or take an event onto the water aboard the River King, a USCG-approved 40-foot pontoon boat. Full-service catering and bar packages are available across all venues, and the resort's 86-room boutique hotel allows event guests to stay on property — a short walk from wherever the celebration takes place.
