The Orion Center is a community event facility operated by Orion Township Parks & Recreation, located at 1335 Joslyn Road in Lake Orion, Michigan. Built in 2011 on 11 acres, the center provides multiple rentable interior spaces for banquets, wedding receptions, birthday parties, reunions, meetings, and other private gatherings. Three dining rooms — A, B, and C — accommodate groups ranging from 40 to 96 seated guests individually, and can be combined to seat up to 180 guests at tables and chairs, or 225 guests with chairs only. A warming kitchen equipped with a commercial refrigerator, oven, and microwave is available to approved caterers and potluck groups. An outdoor wedding gazebo is available for ceremonies as part of the Gold rental package. Standard rental equipment — including TVs, projector, portable screen, dry erase board, microphone, and podium — is available at no additional charge with any room booking.

King's Court Castle at Canterbury Village is a castle-style event venue in Lake Orion, Michigan, set within the historic Canterbury Village property. The building's architecture — crafted stonework and classic castle design — reflects the character of its landmark surroundings. Events are hosted across multiple spaces: a reception ballroom within the castle and a wedding chapel converted from a late-1890s barn. The chapel and ballroom together make the property a natural choice for ceremonies and receptions in one location. For more informal gatherings, the property also includes The Clansman Pub — a cedar-and-stone pub with 20 craft beers on tap and an outdoor patio.

Indianwood Golf & Country Club is a historic country club in Lake Orion, Michigan, founded in 1925. The property's century-old grounds — marked by towering pine trees and a distinctive clubhouse — provide a backdrop for weddings and private events ranging from intimate boardroom luncheons to receptions of up to 190 guests. The club's three primary event spaces accommodate a wide range of gatherings. The Great Hall hosts weddings and receptions for up to 190 guests beneath exposed timber beams and walls of windows. The Mixed Grill seats up to 150 and serves as both an event and ceremony venue. The Boardroom offers a private setting for meetings and luncheons of up to 24. All events are supported by in-house catering and a dedicated Director of Special Events. Indianwood's Old Course is annually ranked among the top 100 classic golf courses in America and has hosted four major championships — the 1930 Western Open, the 1989 and 1994 Women's US Open, and the 2012 US Senior Open — lending a storied character to the property and its grounds.

Friendship Park is a 134.97-acre township-owned property operated by Orion Township Parks & Recreation in Lake Orion, Michigan — the largest park in the township's portfolio. It offers private rental spaces for a range of celebrations, including baby showers, birthday parties, bridal showers, company picnics, family reunions, graduation open houses, and weddings. Three spaces are available for rent: an indoor multi-purpose meeting room with a small kitchen that seats up to 75 guests, a covered outdoor picnic pavilion accommodating up to 75 guests at tables, and a wedding gazebo that hosts 150 to 200 guests for ceremonies and outdoor gatherings. The grounds also include the historic Howarth School House and Porritt Barn. Reservations require a minimum of 14 business days' advance notice, and a refundable security deposit is required for each rental space.
