Chef Perry Hendrix's rustic menu, featuring Midwest ingredients from valued local purveyors, takes its cue from the sun-drenched wine regions of Southwestern Europe. Beyond reflecting the aromas, flavors and colors of the Mediterranean in its cuisine, avec's extensive wine list focuses on the region's boutique vineyards. avec's second floor private event space draws from the warm, intimate design of the main dining room, and evokes the feeling of a rustic mediterranean wine cave. With an open kitchen and private bar, the second floor can host private events for up to 40 seated guests or up to 60 guests for a standing reception. For smaller groups, the space can be divided into a small, private room for with seating for 12 guests, and a semi-private space with seating for up to 20 guests.

The Florentine offers private and semi-private dining space, which can be reserved for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Our versatile spaces provide the perfect venue for every occasion – business dinners, cocktail receptions, and post wedding brunches alike. Our large Private Dining Room can accommodate up to 60 guests for a seated dinner, and 90 for a reception. The space can be reserved as one large room, or two separate spaces for smaller events. The room features two 42” Plasma TVs, as well as access to our surround sound system, which can be connected to a personal iPhone. In our main dining area, semi-private spaces accommodating 12-50 guests can be reserved for an intimate dinner, or a larger cocktail reception.
