The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust in Battery Park offers unparalleled indoor and outdoor spaces for events that are at once beautiful, meaningful, and inspirational. The Museum of Jewish Heritage is a versatile venue for gala dinners, conferences, luncheons, film/commercial shoots, performances, theater presentations, and everything in between. We also offer customized event experiences for significant life celebrations such as engagements, weddings, mitzvahs and memorials. All nine of our distinctive event spaces are housed in the Robert M. Morgenthau Wing, an 82,000-square-foot addition unveiled in 2003, while the hexagonal Core building housing the Museum’s main exhibitions opened in 1997. Both buildings were designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Kevin Roche and John Dinkeloo with interiors by Patrick Gallagher and exterior plaza and landscaping by Olin Studio.

Hawksmoor was inspired by childhood memories of how good steak could taste. Founders Will Beckett and Huw Gott (friends since they were 11) opened the first Hawksmoor restaurant on London’s Commercial Street in 2006. More restaurants in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, New York, Liverpool and Dublin followed. The multi-area restaurant idea was invented by Merchants NY, which is also the market leader in the steadily growing "Living Room" dining and drinking category. With 25 years under its belt, Merchants is still committed to providing "great, polite, courteous, and attentive service." Merchants offers traditional American cuisine, a sizable wine selection, and specially prepared cocktails in a stylishly furnished modern setting, making it the perfect place for both dining and drinking. There are numerous private party rooms at Merchants that can hold groups of 20 to 200 people. The "Living Room" has a fireplace and eye-catching furnishings that combine old world elegance with unmatched comfort. Merchants, a real local hangout, serves as many people's "home away from home."
