A quaint outdoor ceremony location is located next to a hundred-year-old oak tree canopy and overlooks the lake. The Cibolo Nature Center sits on more than 160 acres of preserved Texas Hill Country in the heart of Boerne, shaped by the Cibolo Creek that runs through the property. The nature center offers more than six miles of trails across five distinct ecosystems, including a native prairie, a spring-fed marsh with an ADA-accessible boardwalk, and a wooded creek trail beneath oak and cypress canopy. Under the name The Cibolo, the nature center and its sister property, Herff Farm, host meetings, weddings, retreats, corporate events, and community gatherings in a setting surrounded by nature and Hill Country history. Event spaces range from the intimate Historic Herff House to the larger Hunke Gathering Hall and Nature Center Auditorium, giving planners a choice of indoor and outdoor settings for gatherings of varying sizes. Proceeds from event rentals support the organization's environmental education, research, and conservation work.

The ranch offers two distinct venues that together can host wedding parties of up to 500 guests for ceremony and reception, with capacity increasing to 1,000 for corporate events. Packages range from $4,500 to $9,500 and can be built around one or both venues, along with the option of overnight stays. Lodging is available directly on the property in two homes, and downtown Boerne's hotels, restaurants, and shops are only a short drive away, about 30 minutes from San Antonio International Airport. Couples may bring in vendors of their choosing, provided they are licensed and insured, alongside the ranch's curated list of preferred vendors.

Spinelli's Vistro is an all-inclusive wedding estate set in the Texas Hill Country town of Comfort, within easy reach of San Antonio, Fredericksburg, and Boerne. The property is anchored by a historic, 100-year-old limestone chapel that served as a United Methodist church until 2001; its bell tower rises more than 25 feet above the entrance, and majestic oak trees shade the surrounding grounds for outdoor ceremonies. Beyond the chapel, the estate offers a vaulted dining hall that seats up to 250 guests, a dance hall with a built-in stage, and both indoor and outdoor bars, all set among manicured gardens and covered patios. Two on-site houses -- a century-old country lodge and a private bridal suite -- give couples and their guests a place to stay before and after the celebration. Catering is led in-house by owner and executive chef Dennis Spinelli, whose company has served the Central Texas region for more than 30 years. Rentals include 12 hours of event time, with tables, chairs, and setup included for events of up to 250 guests.

The Marquardt Ranch is a family-owned wedding venue in Boerne, Texas, set on land the Marquardt family has held since the late 1800s along the Guadalupe River in the Texas Hill Country. Dru Marquardt designed and built the venue by hand on the property's bluff, hosting the first wedding there in 2007; his wife Jessica, who leads the venue's floral design, now runs it day to day. The ranch comfortably hosts weddings and events for 10 to 250 guests, with a maximum of 310, and includes an outdoor ceremony area along the river as well as bride and groom dressing suites. Couples may use the riverbank for first looks, bridal portraits, and engagement photos, though guest access to the water is reserved for those sessions rather than the wedding day itself. Catering, floral design, linens, and day-of coordination are all handled in-house, so couples work with one team rather than piecing together outside vendors. All-inclusive packages start at $9,800 for 50 guests, and micro-weddings for 25 or fewer guests start at $5,300.
