We renovated the historic Daily Drover Telegram Newspaper Building in the Stockyards District of Kansas City’s West Bottoms. Built in 1909, this building served as the production facility and newsroom to the news publication for the livestock industry. Our space consists of a tasting room, mezzanine, barrel room and patio.

Weddings at Gunston Hall are truly a special occasion and can include the use of the newly opened Riverside Garden, grounds, the Ann Mason Room (located inside our visitor center) and its adjoining private courtyard. The Ann Mason Room and grounds can accommodate up to 125 seated guests or 150 standing for your ceremony or reception. Life's Finer Moments is a family-run event venue and working farm established in 2012 by the Cott family on 40 acres near Clay Center, Kansas, on the edge of the Flint Hills. Built initially to host extended families visiting the property, the venue grew into a full-service event destination offering both indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings, showers, reunions, corporate meetings, holiday dinners, and a wide range of private celebrations. The main event lodge seats up to 250 guests and features vaulted wood ceilings, a stone fireplace, a ceiling projector, built-in speakers, Wi-Fi, and a full kitchen. A covered wrap-around deck extends the space outdoors and accommodates an additional 100 guests. Manicured grounds, walking trails, and open lawns provide backdrops for ceremonies and photography, while a fire pit and fishing pond round out the property's rural character. The venue operates as a dry, family-friendly facility and allows couples to bring their own food or select from partnering caterers. On-site cabins offer overnight accommodations for wedding parties and guests.

In addition to being adjacent to and above the garden, the venue serves as an unusual and magical setting. The Loft, located in northwest D.C.'s thriving Shaw neighborhood, is easily accessible but feels far away, as if you were in your own private enclave of enlightened elegance. Dacha Loft opened in the fall of 2016 with a Supper Club dinner series and events for our "Dacha Regulars," as we like to refer to those who frequent the restaurant. Over the course of the past two years, we've transformed what started out as an idea into a reality. The Bloomberg Philanthropies Great Hall: The Bloomberg Philanthropies Great Hall is the architectural centerpiece of the Franklin School and Planet Word’s showcase venue both day and night. The 5,000-LED globe that anchors the Spoken World exhibit becomes a stunning chandelier as it rises at the touch of a button up to the towering 22-foot-high ceiling.
