Felicita County Park sits in a small valley in southwest Escondido, where Felicita Creek winds through groves of some of Southern California's largest ancient oak trees. The 52-acre county park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a Kumeyaay Indian site, lending its setting a layer of cultural and historical significance alongside its natural beauty. Two dedicated event areas serve weddings and private celebrations: a shaded outdoor ceremony knoll beneath the oaks and an all-weather reception pavilion that accommodates up to 300 guests. The park provides a changing suite for the wedding party, a grand staircase and balcony well suited for photography, and charming footbridges spanning the seasonal creek. Ample parking — including ADA-accessible spaces — serves arriving guests throughout the day.

Louis A. Stelzer County Park is a 420-acre outdoor event destination set amid oak woodland and coastal sage scrub in Lakeside, California, roughly 30 miles northeast of downtown San Diego. Towering century-old oaks shade the grounds throughout, creating a naturally shaded, serene backdrop suited to intimate ceremonies and casual celebrations alike. The park's signature event landmark is the Wedding Tree — a sprawling 200-year-old live oak whose broad canopy has sheltered countless ceremonies. The adjacent amphitheater provides a more structured setting for formal gatherings, while the picnic areas offer an easy, relaxed space for outdoor receptions. Barbeques, picnic tables, restrooms, and open green space are woven throughout the grounds. Reservations for weddings and special events are managed through San Diego County Parks at (858) 565-3600.

Shadowridge Park is a public city park in Vista, California, managed by the City of Vista's Recreation and Community Services Department. Located at Lupine Hills Drive and Optimist Way in the Shadowridge neighborhood, the park sits within a residential community in northern San Diego County. The park features two playground structures suited to different age groups, a half-court basketball court, open grassy fields, a shaded picnic pavilion with approximately 15 picnic tables, and ample parking. Restrooms and water fountains are available on site. The grounds are also dog-friendly, with open lawn areas for leashed pets. For private gatherings, the City of Vista allows event reservations at the park's picnic areas, including birthday parties and small celebrations, with permits processed through the Recreation and Community Services Department.
