Pulaski Inn is a family-run banquet and catering facility in Cudahy, Wisconsin, that has hosted wedding receptions and special events for over 100 years. The building was established in 1905 by the Wojtysiak family as a hall with a stage, hosted its first wedding reception in 1916, and became known for Polish theatrical performances in the 1920s. During Prohibition it operated as the "Pulaski Soft Drinks Store and Hall," where roller skating on its oak flooring drew crowds. The Glowacki family took over in 1927, expanding the building with a basement excavated during the Great Depression and exterior renovations in the late 1950s, and introduced in-house catering in the late 1960s. Brian and Karen Swessel purchased the business in 1998, becoming its third family ownership. The venue offers two banquet rooms for private events. The Alpine Room, with cathedral ceilings and original hardwood floors, seats up to 350 guests for dinner and includes a raised mezzanine for a band, DJ, or additional seating. The Heritage Room accommodates up to 100 guests and suits showers, birthday parties, holiday gatherings, retirement parties, and small weddings or anniversaries. Brian, a 1981 culinary arts graduate, oversees the kitchen and menu customization, while Karen coordinates directly with clients. The owners are personally on-site during events, offering the consistent, personalized service the venue is known for.

Great Lakes Distillery
616 W Virginia St, Milwaukee, WI 53204, USA- Spaces for 200 Guests
Great Lakes Distillery is Wisconsin's original craft distillery, founded in Milwaukee in 2004 by Guy Rehorst as the first distillery to open in the state since Prohibition. It pairs small-batch copper stills with locally sourced ingredients from regional farmers, producing vodka, gin, whiskey, Roaring Dan's rum, brandy, liqueurs, absinthe, and seasonal spirits alongside a non-alcoholic botanical option. Located on the edge of Milwaukee's Walker's Point neighborhood near the Menomonee Valley, just south of downtown, the distillery doubles as a gathering space for guided tours, tastings, and private events. Its tasting room features a copper-topped bar, seating with high-top tables, and an outdoor patio, while the working production floor, with spirit barrels and a pot still on display, can also be booked for private gatherings such as company happy hours, birthday parties, and family reunions. A retail area in the tasting room carries the full lineup of spirits along with glassware and apparel, and food service rounds out the experience for groups spending an evening among the stills.
