WEDDINGS & SPECIAL EVENTS IN THE GARDEN We know a little little about birds and bees. The craziness of the day collides with the tranquility of the garden. The Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden, with its lovely garden and historic mansion, is the perfect setting to take in the sights and sounds of your wedding day or special celebration. In the heart of ancient Palo Alto, we can accommodate an intimate celebration of up to 50 people. For your ceremony, choose from the Rose Garden, Wisteria Garden, or Tea House Patio, as well as reception space in the Carriage House or Tea House Patio. Our event coordinator can assist you in putting together the perfect gathering. RENTAL DETAILS With over 20 years of expertise at Gamble Garden, our wedding/event coordinator will assist you with the planning of your special event. Gamble Garden can host groups of up to 50 people and is available for rental Monday through Friday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday. You and your guests will enjoy the first floor of the Main House, which includes the Dining Room, Living Room, and Library with veranda; the Carriage House and Carriage House Patio; and the Tea House and Tea House Patio when you choose Gamble Garden for your special occasion. Within your rental area are the Rose Garden, the Allée, and the Wisteria Garden, all of which are perfect for photography at any time of year. For non-profits, we are glad to offer a special weekday rental rate; please call for further information. There is a discount if you book an event within 30 days of the event date. Gamble Garden is unable to conduct fundraising events for other non-profits or corporations. Our Vendor List and Rental Contract (weekends and evenings) are provided for informational purposes only.

Nick's Cove sits along the shores of Tomales Bay in Marshall, California — a historic coastal property with roots stretching back to 1931, when Nick and Frances Kojich converted a former herring curing facility into a waterfront gathering place serving travelers, fishermen, and sportsmen from across California. Today, the property preserves that original character while offering modern amenities, operating as a destination restaurant, lodging retreat, and private event venue along Highway One in West Marin. Four distinct indoor and outdoor spaces accommodate gatherings ranging from intimate private dining of 24 guests on the Waterfront Lounge patio to full-property buyouts of up to 120 guests, incorporating the entire restaurant and outdoor areas. The venue has long been described as one of the last remaining historic settlements still catering to the tourist trade on this stretch of coastline, with its bayfront piers, renovated cottages, and sweeping bay views setting the backdrop for weddings, corporate retreats, and special celebrations. Events are supported by an in-house culinary team led by Executive Chef Matt Alfus, with menus emphasizing locally sourced ingredients and seasonal seafood. Overnight accommodations in twelve historic cottages are available for guests, making Nick's Cove a destination for multi-day celebrations.

The Stanford Faculty Club is a private membership organization set on the Stanford University campus at 439 Lagunita Drive in Stanford, California. Housed in a landmark building surrounded by the universitys storied grounds, the club has served as a gathering place for faculty, staff, and the broader Stanford community since its founding — hosting everything from intimate faculty dinners to weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, corporate conferences, and milestone celebrations. Seven distinct event spaces accommodate groups ranging from 12 to over 300 guests, with outdoor options extending capacity to 500. The Cedar Room, at 3,500 square feet with an expansive open floor plan, warm wood finishes, and access to the Main Patio, anchors the largest gatherings. The Redwood Room offers an elegant setting with high ceilings and a stone fireplace alongside access to the Garden Patio. Fern Cottage is an intimate event venue operated by the East Bay Regional Park District, nestled amongst ferns and groves of redwood trees within Kennedy Grove Regional Recreation Area in El Sobrante, California. Once a park residence and later a senior center, the 1,000-square-foot cottage sits on a landscaped property featuring two outdoor decks and a private enclosed backyard with a lawn and garden — an easy-to-miss woodland retreat within the East Bay hills. The cottage accommodates up to 60 guests for seated receptions indoors and up to 130 guests overall, making it a natural fit for micro weddings, celebrations, bridal and baby showers, small workshops, and retreats. The interior features two rooms arranged in an L-shape, a cozy gas fireplace, and a full kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, six-burner range with oven, and microwave. A covered back deck (30 by 16 feet) and a front deck (16 by 20 feet) extend the usable space outdoors into the surrounding eucalyptus and redwood setting.
