Stan Mansion has previously hosted a variety of special occasions and events, including weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, and concerts. With a variety of rooms and event spaces and unique layout, hosts of events at Stan Mansion are able to choose a room that would best fit the type of event. The ballrooms at Stan Mansion can accommodate up to 300 people each and there is a recently renovated bar and lounge for guests to explore. The experienced staff at Stan Mansion will help create food and beverage packages for your event. Staff will also help to decorate the room in accordance to your theme. To add some fun to the event, the Stan Mansion ballrooms are able to have bouncy houses or inflatables!

Located in the heart of downtown La Grange, our diners can expect urban flavors and décor matched with a beautiful rooftop dining space. fourteensixteen General Manager Chris Johnson and Executive Chef Bret Bohning lead up the scratch-made menu sourcing a majority of the ingredients within 300 miles of the restaurant. “We’ve created an incredible culinary experience through our menu with emphasis on locality.” Chef Bret Bohning remarks. The beverage menu offers handmade and well thought out cocktail elements beyond the traditional offerings using multi-dimensional flavor, textural contrasts and compliments. Leading up the infusion creations, Bar Manager, Jim McGuigan explained, “Our intention is to offer the highest quality of recognizable and seasonally tuned beverages with an edge of uniqueness pointed at locality, where possible, sustainability, and responsibility with regard to sourcing and production.” The restaurant is set in a 130-year-old building featuring a 100-seat dining room, bar area and an impressive 60-seat dining and lounge rooftop terrace. A semi-private area, on the restaurant’s second level, is available for intimate special events for up to 18 guests along with various semi-private spaces with space for up to 140 people. The décor is industrial yet tasteful from the rustic mosaic mirrors to the antique water gage light fixtures and contemporary garage doors for when the La Grange weather is just right. In the Spring, fourteensixteen will be building a pergola for the Rooftop in order to “cover” private events and extend the outdoor season. Expect wine and beer tastings, dinners, parties and other special events taking place in 2018.

Bub City Rosemont offers event and party options for groups ranging from eight to 1,500 guests. From corporate dinners, bachelorette parties and private whiskey tastings to VIP experiences in one of the private rooms that overlook the Joe’s stage, the space offers a wide variety of entertainment for groups. In addition to in-restaurant event capabilities, Bub City also provides off-site catering and rents out “The Rig,” a mobile barbecue trailer that brings the barbecue experience right to guests’ doors.

Halfway House Indoor Golf is your local spot for indoor golf. We have 4 professional grade golf/game simulators that not only have incredibly realistic golf, but other games like football, soccer, and baseball. The Nineteenth Century Landmark Building is a great place to hold your next event. Two dining rooms and a lounge are available on our freshly refurbished and customized first level. The big south dining room, ideal for small to medium-sized events, provides the ideal setting for elegant parties and ceremonies, as well as corporate events, award banquets, and graduation parties. The north dining room, which is smaller, is ideal for small dinners and meetings. The stylish and comfortable furniture in our sophisticated lounge is ideal for cocktail parties, showers, and small gatherings. Our newly remodeled ballroom, which can accommodate over 275 guests, is ideal for weddings, banquets, receptions, fundraisers, ceremonies, and special events. Our large stage is ideal for bands and orchestras performing live music and events. Since its erection in 1928, the majestic Oak Park Landmark building of the Nineteenth Century Charitable Association has served our communities. It was designed by architect James L. Fyfe, and it is listed as a "Contributing Resource within the Frank Lloyd Wright-Prairie School of Architecture Historic District" in a recent Village of Oak Park document. Our mission has been to promote study and charity since 1891. We encourage social responsibility by giving philanthropic work, financial support to community not-for-profit groups, and college scholarships to Oak Park-River Forest high school graduates as part of our commitment to our 21st-century community.
