Anne Springs Close Greenway is a 2,100-acre nature reserve in Fort Mill, South Carolina, just minutes south of Charlotte — more than double the size of Central Park. The preserve's lakes, hardwood forests, and 40-mile trail network carry historical ties to the Catawba Nation and the Revolutionary and Civil War, and the land has been permanently preserved for public use as the vision of its namesake, Anne Springs Close. The Club at Longview is a private country club and event venue set on more than 1,000 acres in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The property traces its origins to the 1800s as the Longview Black Jack Farm, and the Club officially opened in October 2003 after the development of a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course on land that Nicklaus himself described as seeming always meant to be home to a great golf course. All people are welcome at Camelot Meadows, which offers an LGBTQ+-friendly environment. Dr. Mark Baxa, who tragically passed away at a young age from brain cancer, is honored at this location. It took Mark many years to transform this beloved property into these lovely meadows and the enchanted bamboo forest. It was twilight in the summer when Mark's wife Deborah and her husband first visited the property. To get to the pasture, they had to ascend through a bamboo forest (where the barn is now). She turned to her husband and said, "This place is magical," as the horses approached them. This land was created to be enjoyed and shared by all. In order for this location to live on as a part of Mark's heritage, Deborah created it.

Bit of Hope Ranch is a 50-acre equine ranch in Gastonia, North Carolina, set across hardwood forest and open pasture. Best known as an equine-assisted therapy and wellness center, the ranch also opens its grounds for celebrations, group gatherings, and corporate events. Birthday parties are a signature offering, with horse-themed, unicorn-themed, and outdoor-themed packages that pair pony rides in the covered arena with farm play, lawn games, and crafts. Larger group rentals suit sweet sixteens, graduations, retirements, reunions, church groups, and scout troops, opening up the barnyard petting area, grilling stations, fishing pond, and playground for the day. The building retains its original Italian stained glass windows, a pipe organ, and a circular sanctuary that reflects nearly a century of architectural character. Named after the great aunt of the philanthropist who acquired the property in 1997, the center reopened as Charlotte's alternative performing arts, cultural, and community gathering place. The Sanctuary accommodates up to 400 guests for ceremonies, concerts, and conferences, offering a baby grand piano, a pipe organ, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. The Cafe seats up to 150 guests for receptions and social gatherings, with a built-in dance floor and kitchen facilities.
